The newest issue of Nintendo Power reports what Tales of Symphonia fans in the U.S. (and, we're assuming, the rest of North America) have been hoping for. That's right -- the localization of the Wii game is confirmed, and Knights of Ratatosk will be heading to North American shores. Only, it's not going to be called Knights of Ratatosk. The game has a new subtitle, and will be known instead as Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World. At least that's easier to spell, albeit a lot more generic than the previous title.Nintendo Power also boasts that the new Tales will be the Wii's first "epic RPG." Is that an insult to games like Opoona and Baroque, or are those games simply not "epic" enough? Whether it's the first or not, though, we're certainly glad that the game will be localized, especially since it seems to be shaping up pretty nicely.
Even though this is good news, is anyone disappointed that Nintendo Power's "secret RPG" turned out to be a not-so-secret game?

I was hoping it would be a previously unannounced title, personally. Still, this is good news - even if I didn't particularly like the first Symphonia's localization.

Pretty cool announcement, but as well was hoping for an unannounced game to be....Announced. That title oozes generic, but it makes me think of the Iron Maiden album "Brave New World" so it's not all bad.

Did anybody get this issue yet? and if so, what score did they rate Smash Bros.? (since the cover claims to contain the 1st review of the title)

10/10
So far I haven't seen Brawl get an unperfect score, and considering I've seen about 5 reviews, that isn't too shabby.

I was really hoping for something new. Don't get me wrong, I liked Tales of Symphonia for the Cube, but I really wanted something new, exciting and different. Oh, well.

Yeah, this annoys me. How cheap. It makes me glad that I let my subscription lapse. Jerks.
Why not just tell me you're going to give me a million dollars and then give me a million dollars worth of coupon savings on items I never buy. I'm sure ToS will be a great game, but what they announced was not a "secret RPG." A secret RPG would've been Mother 1, 2 or 3 coming to the VC. A secret RPG would've been a previously unknown project. Yeah, I'm done with them. I don't smoke, but I certainly feel like I need a cigarette now.

Remember that a Nintendo Power is writing as if there is no internet. They provide information for those who don't surf the web. The reason everyone here knows about the game is because you already read about it but there are those who don't.
