Let's give it a little rundown, shall we? We have a pretty looking spin-off from Square-Enix, a few possible adventure titles, a platformer, some puzzle games (including a beloved classic), a unique butterfly simulation, something currently called Project Bang! -- oh, and then there's the one with the Pokemon. We haven't even mentioned the slew of others that came with Wii Ware's original announcement, and then there may even be some that we've forgotten.
We know you have to be at least a little bit excited for Wii Ware. So, tell us -- which games most strike your fancy?

It seems like it'll be filled with mostly flash-like games.
Final Fantasy should be good if it's deep enough.

I really haven't been keeping up too much with this. I'll admit the FF game sounds interesting but a lot is going to depend on price for me. If these games start going over $15 forget it. Also, it's hard for me to get excited about Wii Ware when we've been waiting months for Everyones Nintendo Channel. Wii Ware seems like it's years away.

I'm not interested in any of it until they knock off that whole "Points only purchasable in increments of 1000" garbage AND provide a way to switch downloads to a different system in case I ever replace my Wii.

I'm pretty certain there is a method for switching games to a new system; Nintendo wouldn't just leave you hanging. You might just have to call their customer service line or something.
The Final Fantasy kingdom-building game and Butterfly Garden look interesting to me. If I had a Wii, I would snap those up in an instant.

Save your Wii's Serial Number, and when or if it ever gets replaced, a call to customer service will register all your software as "Downloaded" according to your new Wii, you just have to physically download all of it again...

And what happens 10-20 years from now when Nintendo decides they don't feel like supporting the old Wii anymore, but mine breaks down and I need to replace it? Everything I'd legitimately bought and paid for goes *poof*. No thanks.

I'm interested in Pop, Eternity's Child and the Final Fantasy game (I'm not much of an RPG gamer, but I like the artwork)

I had heard a rumor of a updated version of WWf No mercy with the current roster. I would buy that game in a instant. I'd love to see the hd super street fighter 2 but I don't know if that's going to end up on wii ware.

FF:CC, Dr. Mario, Sam & Max.
Has anybody else been wondering how we're going to store these games? I'm thinking it's going to be one of two things: a hard drive will be announced at some point in the near future, or perhaps any Wii Ware you purchase will be streamable from some sort of central server that Nintendo provides.
I guess it all depends on the game, I suppose.

I'm still saying they're never going to give us a proper HDD. They'll either open up SD Storage (which would be very easy if they just ditched that hideous, time-consuming encryption scheme), or provide us with a proprietary flash memory expander for the USB Port
Like Microsoft, Nintendo will be limited by the minimum ~280 MB that users actually have to work with, so Wii users could never need 20 GB or something like that, 4-5 GB flash drive will be it

I agree with you Mr.Khan about the 4-5gig flash or sd memory. Plus the sd card or flash stick would look "sleek and sexy". A hard-drive would be nice but it would not look as good as using flash. I think that's the reason ninty's going to use flash. Also the 4-5gigs could be right since I added the Megabytes for the Guitar Hero 3 tracks up and it's 443.5 mb's(18 tracks for the 360 verison currently). That's actually pretty small. I admitted 4 songs songs since those four you can only get on the 360 anyway, which is the Halo Theme, Flyleaf,AFI songs, and Marilyn Manson song.(If anyone is curious). Anyways this could also show that Wiiware titles such as Dr.Mario maybe are only 100-150mb's. Cause the 360 and ps 3's games usually aren't that big. I did download Crash Bandicoot 1 for my ps3 and that came in at 450mb's. So on a whole maybe not that much is really needed for the wii in the long term.

Asking us what we want is not a progress report. You interrupted my multi-blog power skimming by making me stop... and read...nothing new! yeah,i know, I'm wasting more time complaining about it.
The heading for this post should be "Filler: discuss crumbs of Wii Ware info 'cause we've got nothing else to work with. "

The real question is how will this change Virtual Console releases?
Why would Nintendo continue putting up crap, when 3rd parties are making fresh creative new games for the same cost?

Really, Nintendo... it's time to pull your collective fingers out and get WiiWare OUT THERE.
I'm sick of waiting.
Every week there's new awesome titles added to XBLA like Sonic HD (and Rez HD), while we're stuck(*) with the virtual console mega drive original.
(* "stuck" meaning we have no other option, I'd buy a graphically-enhanced Sonic 1 if it were an option!)
Seriously. How hard can this be?
