Well, the big thing this week is the Game Developer's Conference in San Francisco, as folks from the gaming industry get together and create pandemonium throughout the intertron by releasing new details on upcoming projects and revealing some for the first time. And we wouldn't have it any other way.
So we were wondering what you Nintendo lovers would want to see most from the show. A new game announcement? A release date set in stone for
Wii Fit or perhaps
Mario Kart? What kind of things regarding this week's show are rattling around in your mind?

My programming professor is going to the event, so basically I'm just gonna hit her up for all the little details when she gets back. I mean, of course there I will keep up with the news... but do they have demos at GDC? I thought they usually do, and if so, she has to tell me what Brawl was like!!!

I really want to hear the release dates for WiiWare and the Everybody's Nintendo Channel. I cannot wait for those two. As soon as WiiWare launches I will be downloading Dr. Mario.
A release date for Mario Kart and Wii Fit would also be nice.

And considering there will be discussion panels on Wii Fit and WiiWare (as well as Smash Bros.) so the chances of finding out release dates seem fairly good.

Gamestop is already taking pre-order payments for Mario Kart Wii. According to Gamestop, the game becomes available around the last week of April.

I don't ask for much; just a reason to turn my Wii back on.

No kidding. All I want is for Nintendo to stop allowing developers to put out shovelware. I went into an EB this weekend and was surprised at how many games there were for the Wii and how many seemed like they would be 100% crap.

...And?
I'd like to see an external HDD, and stuff to put on it (DLC for RB/GH3, and wii demos)
I really, really, wish we could get wii demos.

A Wii Fit release date would be great.
I'd also like to see a bunch of info on Wii Ware, including a release date and a bunch of new games from Nintendo themselves for the service.

wi-fi, wi-fi, wi-fi.
I hate my friends (those bastards), I want to play games with strangers. Moreso, I want them to announce some new functionality so I can see what my friends are playing, and perhaps even engage with them IM-style.
load it up with parental notifications if you have to, just stop pretending that the internet hasn't changed everything, please.

This is absolutely what I want, put whatever parental controls you think are necessary on it (which can be turned off in settings with the correct password) but i think it is crucial to be able to play online multiplayer with friends and strangers alike. Being able to see when my friends are online and what they are playing would be the next step and should be trivial to achieve. I think that if Nintendo bring out WiiSports 2 with online multiplayer ( and enhanced controls over WiiSports) they would seriously clean up (if they weren't already selling more consoles than they can make. lol)

Oh yeah, and this too...surely there must be a way to store DLC on the Wii internal memory or an SD card?

I'd like to see some more games for the balance board. I know Wii Fit, but give me a little incentive to drop the money on it.

Any info on Day of crisis/Mario Kart Wii/Sadness/communications through Wii(voice/text)/Death of friend codes.
My dream is always that the friend code system will die a most horrible death....The world would rejoice and the Wii would be free to have real Wi-fi....

GDC is more low-key, and much like Nintendo's announcements were limited to Super Mario Galaxy screens last time, this time i would like to see Disaster screens. I'd also like to get Wii Fit & Mario Kart Wii release dates
Otherwise, i'm not caring much.

GDC isn't your typical E3, I don't expect we'll see anything worthwhile. Saying that, a release date on Brawl for PAL regions and some information on Pikmin 3 would be nice.
