For those of you who've decided that just looking at screens isn't enough for you, IGN has uploaded video of Mario Kart Wii in action. And, from the looks of it, this game is going to be just as we thought: fun. Seriously, did you ever doubt it could be anything but?

Game looks better in motion and the low quality video helped as well......
Despite what will be poor graphics I know I'm picking this up.
And I know I won't be alone!

Game looks great. They've got to stop with the stupid gimmick accessories though.. I mean look at the end of the video when they're trying to high five each other but the stupid wheel is hangin off their wrists. Lame! Game looks super fun though

Having a o.g. Zapper and Power Glove is so cool. But somehow in a decade or two I don't think its going to be too cool having all of Nintendo's white plastic from the Wii.

It's true that there's a lot of accesories for th eWii, but who says you HAVE to buy them? Although the Wheel comes with MK, you don't really have to buy any of the others. So stop complaining about all the accesories. They're there to help people immerse themselves in the games. The Zapper works, this Wheel looks cool, but COME ON? Who buys shit like the Racket, baseball, and golf club attachments for Wii sports? Or the stupid little Master sword and Hylian shield attachments for TP? In conclusion, some accesories, work, some don't
Anyways, I personally can't wait for this game. The graphics are a little platic-y, but that won't matter when you're having fun on wifi and with friends!

I'm so excited for this one. Mario Kart and Brawl will probably be the only games I get this year, besides Galaxy.

Am I the only one slightly turned off by the video? The whole trick thing and inability to control it the old fashion way I find to be potential problems. Then again, I felt the same way about double dash before it came out, and that ended up being my favorite version.

I'm really not into the whole wii wheel thing but I think I heard it supports all control schemes a la brawl so I'm not against trying it.

I'm not sure. I haven't really enjoyed the past 3 Mario Kart games. (GBA, GameCube, and DS)
