If serial name-taker and ass-kicker Reggie Fils-Aime has his way, the future is already looking decidedly grim for Nintendo's opposition. In interviews with Bloomberg and IGN respectively, the Nintendo bigwig has discussed how he hopes to see the Wii overtake the Xbox 360 in North America by June (currently, Nintendo's console is outselling Microsoft's by a reasonably slim margin each month), and has promised that "over ten games are in development that take advantage of the Balance Board."
We already know that Family Ski will be making use of Nintendo's wobbly slab (in conjunction with the Wiimote and nunchuk, which quite brilliantly double as ski poles), but that means there are still nine Balance Board-compatible games out there, waiting to be revealed. If you're listening, 1080° Snowboarding, now is the time for a comeback!

I remember when Wii wasn't competing against the 360 or PS3.

In my mind it isn't competing at all. Nintendo can't ride on it's first party games for the rest of this consoles generation. And to be quite frank there really isn't much else save games made by Suda that are third part that are worth buying.

Please, sure it can. N64 and GC did fine with jack-all 3rd party support, and Wii is doing better than the two of them in that field
Face it: Wii is winning. Other console fans had their two generations to gloat, but Nintendo's back, baby!

Well, you know, quite frankly I could care less if Nintendo "wins" the console wars in terms of sales. They still win with me, and that's all that I care about. Sure, there aren't many third party games out that aren't minigames, but that's not Nintendo's fault, it's the fault of third party dumbasses who think they can sell minigames and actually turn a profit, while us hardcore gamers wait for them to get creative. I can actually last on first party games like Corruption, Galaxy, TP, and Brawl though.
So in conclusion, I DON'T CARE. The only reason the 360 loses with me is because I can't get many M-Rated games without fighting with my mom (ARGH!!) so the 360 screwed me over by making EVERY SINGLE NOTEWORTHY GAME M.

I don't really care how Nintendo and Microsoft compare, since I own both of their consoles and want them to be well supported. I just want to see Sony fall and fall hard. They've got some legs now with BluRay, but now that the PS3's Trojan horse mission is complete, the console can be laid to rest.
