I didn't see The House of the Dead 2 & 3 Return at GDC -- and I looked -- but Gamespot got a hands-on preview of the new release of Sega's light gun classics. Had I been there, I would have asked about the captioning. "Suffer the same way G did?" The audio's the same (from what can be heard on the video) so why the change in captioning? And why just that line?
In addition to rewriting Zeal's big line, Sega has added six different crosshair options and online rankings. What hasn't been added, unfortunately, is The Typing of the Dead. How could anyone do this?

Typing of the Dead, BTW, is available on Gamefly, though it's hella disappointing. I guess I type too fast, but it doesn't keep up with my typing speed and I find I have to *slow down* to make it register what I type. I didn't have that problem on the Windows demo of TOTD that I tried, so I'm guessing it's a Gamefly port problem. But whatevs, it blows.

Looked so much more frantic than RE:UC, but still keeps the zombie love....I'll buy this just to drive demand and hope for HOTD4. Well that and to use a shotgun on zombies...they go together so well...like cookies and milk or me & sexy women....
I also quite like the idea of online score boards....So is this £29.99 or $29.99?

Looks good. I just wish they had chosen a _newer_ game for their "litmus test" to see if these would be popular. I enjoyed Ghost Squad but for some reason I think Ghost Squad looked better than this. Maybe that's just me though.
Anyway, for $29.99 I'd definitely think about it... Now some Virtua Cop action later on... Mmm, goodness...
