Update: It's official. The game has been delayed. Thanks to LordGek for pointing this out to us!
It looks like Baroque is getting pushed back yet again, as the release window of March is no more. Actually, it could still be on track for a March release, however word from gaming retail giant GameStop is that the game is releasing on the 8th of April. To add more credibility to this rumor, Gamefly is saying the game isn't releasing until the 10th of April.
While this is far from official word via Atlus or something, odds are that those of us dying to get our hands on the RPG will have to wait an extra month. And, hey, if there's one thing us Wii gamers have learned, it's how to wait for games we want.

Delays are fine so long as the product improves, and things don't start looking like vaporware.

Unfortunately, games being delayed is nothing new to any console. Frankly, I still think Wii enthusiasts still have it better than the PS3 owners who have seen quite a few longer and more excruciating delays...

Honestly, i'd like to see all good games that release after March 9th be delayed to late April or so. Okami & FFCC Ring of Fates, two games that come out too close to Brawl means i'll have two games in my "Wait list" which is good i suppose, but i'd rather get them at launch

Mr Khan is right. While I plan to purchase Baroque, I only purchase one game at a time to occupy me, and in March its going to be Brawl. Baroque against Brawl won't stand a chance; give it some breathing room on the release schedule and it'll have its own hype heard. Put it out alongside Brawl and it can't help but suffer as a 'waitlist' game. Some games stay on the waitlist long enough to be forgotten in favor of a newly released game with the current hype.
And if this delay is truly to polish the game, then I don't mind, it would stay in the plastic for a long time anyways if I bought it with Brawl.

A bad game is bad forever. A delayed game is eventually good.
