Resident Evil Zero direct-feed shots shamble our way
You may have already glimpsed Grain-O-Vision versions of these Resident Evil Zero shots in that Famitsu scan we posted last week, but Dengeki just posted direct-feed screens. Given our love of all things Resident Evil (we were besotted long before the series went from being "very good" to "jaw-dropping"), we figured a revisit was worthwhile.
Sure enough, these screens just reminded us how pretty pre-Resident Evil 4 Resident Evil games were: all baroque mansions and genetically modified beasties. Hit the break for more.

Nigeria: the graphics have amazing gameplay said...
I see a lot of brown.
Does this look any different from the Gamecube version. I saw it on sale for £7, but I said I'd purchase it when I could "truly" afford it. Or when I'd become more interested in exploring a Resident Evil game. And its brown.

looks Ok. I really enjoyed re:4 wiimake, but i'll admit, by then end the only thing that was pushing me on was the story. game got a bit repetative. but anyway...
Has anyone seen how this game will incorporate the wii control? its not an over the shoulder view so will we still be controlling the gun via IR?

Not sure I will ever get tired of making zombie heads pop by suplexing them =-)
Seriously, though, I don't see what the Wii revamp of the GC version brings to the table, other than slightly prettier graphics. If I wanted that, I'd wait for the PS3 version...

I'd be willing to rebuy all of the Resident Evil games if they remade them with RE4 engine, controls, and visuals. Over the shoulder and IR would be great. If it's just a port, forget it.

I just want RE5. Capcom better deliver. Seriously, based off of RE4 success ALONE (not including UC's success) this is a no brainer.

RE5 is one of the reasons I bought a 360. With the previews I've seen, there's no way the game could be dumbed down to work on the Wii. I'd love to see it happen, but I'm not expecting much.

Are they actually changing anything about the game? I like Resident Evil 0 but theres no point in buying it if its a direct port, the Wii plays Gamecube games, but I would consider it if there were significant changes.

It's identical to original game. RE-0 had great prerendered backgrounds
its shameful that a 2002 gamecube game could look better than 80% of 2008 Wii games.

We are getting very sick of the voice of this blog. And by we I mean, of course, me.

... I agree with the others. I don't understand the point of this. I already have this game for the GC and it plays just fine on my roommate's Wii.

And here I thought you couldn't get 60 shades of brown.....
I want RE5 for the Wii, I think it's possible for a scaled back version....I just think Capcom like being lazy and love the idea of easy money.

I bought RE:Z for $20 brand new back on my GC, why should I but it again to play on my Wii?

You're lucky I'm a loser and check most of the threads I was in for a few days!
The Heatseeker for $10-$11 was supposed to be a nation-wide clearance price. Like most clearances, the goal was to get rid of the stock, which it seems CC has already done. Meaning, you probably aren't going to find the game in store at that price. The game is also out of stock online. Sorry. FYI, I get this info from http://www.cheapassgamer.com/ you should sign up and become a member of the forum. I've already saved more than $150 in the five months I've been on.

That's only because the polygon count of a pre-rendered background is only in the single or double digits, freeing up processing power for characters.
