With Target: Terror announced for the Wii, we realize now there's really no limit to what terrible shooting games publishers are willing to port, no matter how dated its visuals. As much as we miss the Friday nights from our high school years spent hanging out at bowling alleys and movie theaters ogling girls who had no interest in us whatsoever, we don't miss the crappy games that usually populated those nostalgic spots.
Still, we suspect that we'll see a lot more of these late 90s light gun games on our fair console. What shooter are you

While some may call me crazy, i'd like to see Lethal Enforcers (a favorite of me and my dad) and Area 51. But only if the devs take some time to clean up the visuals. If we get a direct port of sprite-based action, not interested!

As much as I love the Wii Zapper (and Ghost Squad), I dreaded this would happen. I predicted that light-gun games would become the new mini-game compilations.
Don't get me wrong I like light-gun games, but as fun as they are, these games are very shallow and very easy to make. Light-gun games appeal to the same laziness in developers that have brought us so many mini-games.

They might be easy, but when the price reflects that, I'm cool with it. $30 is a pretty good price point for these types of games. Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles might have cost more, but it was a lot deeper as well.

Since I'm a huge retro game fan, I'd like to see Crossbow. Although I'm probably the only one.
Maybe someday after Nintendo has sufficiently shaken us all down on VC points they will offer some kind of Arcade package for download.

This game looks awesome - and no I'm not being sarcastic - I'm really looking forward to this. It reminds me of Terminator 2: Arcade on the Mega Drive. That was a great game when played with other people.
The Wii needs more Light Gun games. If the library of Wii games was mostly made of these types of games, I'd probably be satisfied. Maybe.
Ports of Virtua Cop 1-2-3 are needed. As well as Confidential Mission.

Yes, Time Crisis! A compilation of the game sounds like a good idea. On that note, Point Blank would be great!

I'd love to see Virtua Cop compilation. Time Crisis would also be cool, but I doubt Namco will leave Sony.

Revolution X, Where the music is your weapon!!!
-Seriously, that was a terrible game. I mean, your shooting CD’s at people in gas masks. It doesn’t even say why they are attacking in the first place. Your airlifted in and Steven Tyler is like, “Take my car and kill people!!” wtf!?!?!

Hey, Eric, quit hating on Target: Terror. It's a guilty pleasure of mine.
As for my answer... Virtua Cop, Confidential Mission, Time Crisis, Point Blank... give 'em all to the Wii. ^_^

Terminator 2 was my favorite. I'd like to play Hogan's Alley again for old time's sake. I saw a firefighting game at an arcade but never played it. Port that one to the Wii and then maybe Nerf can build a gigantic hose accessory.

How about a compilation of Sega CD FMV games - things like Sewer Shark, Corpse Killer, Ground Zero Texas, Surgical Strike, Star Wars Rebel Assault, Microcosm & Tomcat Alley. Perhaps not zapper friendly, but great for the Wiimote.

Lethal Enforcers FTW! I remember, at one point, I memorized the location of every enemy in the first two stages.
A port of Terminator 2 would be pretty awesome. Wishful thinking would point me toward Time Crisis (series) and Silent Scope (series).

I'm going to repeat my comment from last year... I want 'Lucky and Wild'... that way you get a shooting game and a driving game. What more could you want?
Well Time Crisis obviously and Point Blank too!

It be nice to some some compilations. I mean Konami, Namco, and especially SEGA all have great shooters that cant stand on their own...but you toss 3 or 4 of those games into the mix am Im sold!
BRING ON THE SHOOTER PACKS!

Though this will probably never happen considering Sony has exclusively the fourth entry in the series, I'd like to see a Time Crisis collection.
