Atari has hooked us up and, by hooking us up, hooked you up. That's a whole lot of hooking (keep your mind out of the gutter!) right there. They've unloaded, literally, a box full of games onto us. It's not like we can
keep them, so we're going to give them away to you!
As usual, you must be
18 years of age or older to enter and
a legal resident of the 50 United States or Canada (excluding Quebec). How do you enter, you ask? Well, just tell us what your favorite Atari game of all time is. Pretty simple, eh? We like to keep it simple.
The prizes up for grabs:
- 2 Grand prize winners: 1 copy of Godzilla Unleashed ($40), 1 copy of DBZ Budokai 2 ($30), 1 copy of DBZ Budokai 3 ($40) and 1 copy of My Horse and Me ($30)
- 2 Runner-up winners: 1 copy of Godzilla Unleashed ($40), 1 copy of My Horse and Me and 1 copy of DBZ Budokai 3 ($40)
- 1 consolation winner: 1 copy of Godzilla Unleashed ($40) and 1 copy of My Horse and Me ($30)
You can enter only
once per day and should you leave more than one comment in this post during a one-day period, you'll find yourself disqualified. Also, if you leave a comment that isn't on the topic of what we asked, you will be disqualified. And make sure you
check your email regularly. If we send you an email saying you won and we don't hear back from you, we have to award the prize to someone else. The contest will end Sunday, March 23rd at 11:59PM ET. We'll select the winners via random drawing the next day.
For a full and very complete list of rules,
click here. Best of luck to you all and thanks to Atari for the giveaway goodies!

My favourite Atari game? Probably Dragon Ball Z Budokai 1. The cutscenes in that were gorgeous.

Any time I hear 'Atari', I can't help but think of the 2600. I may have to go with Space Invaders, but we'll see what I answer tomorrow after I have more time to think about it.

Transformers for ps2. Don't know why because it wasn't that great. But being able to transform at will was pure nostalgic fun.

I hate to admit it, but I would have to say it is the worst Atari game in history too - E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial. I had a copy of it through college, but then in one of the moves it got lost.

Gauntlet Legends was by far the best Atari game I've ever played. Fantastic in the arcade, but pretty darn good on the N64, too.

The game that I always wanted to play was the one that they made for the movie The Last Starfighter. It looked amazing for that time period.

"Favorite Atari game" is pretty broad. They published Neverwinter Nights, which is one of my favorite PC games of all time. I loved how customizable everything was and how much player-created content was available.
