So I saw the commercial for Sega Superstars Tennis today and it said there was online play? Is this a case of extreme false advertising?

I'm no physician, but I believe that the online play is only in the DS, Xbox 360, and the PS3 versions, which is why I'm probably going to buy the Xbox 360 version. Stupid Sega. :(

I know several people, myself included, who would have picked up Worms if it had had online play...what in the world were they thinking. 6 copies woulda sold within my extended family alone, but none of us are interested in the game without online multi-player. Sad.

I'm not much of a soccer fan, but I consider renting PES 2008 when we get it here in PAL lands (or is this out already?). The videos make it look like a pure strategy game, and I like those.
SEGA Superstars Tennis is a must buy for me.
The Wii Sports Tennis control mode is a huge plus, and I’ll use it to lure my mom in (we always have a good time with Wii sports)
No online is sad but I can live with it. I don't own a 360 or PS3, so it’s not like I have alternatives.

I may yet get SSST.....And I dunno....may get PES just to see how football games work on the Wii....
But it's not a great looking games list...especially considering Brawl was released worldwide(or may aswell have been thanks to freeloader)....that'll keep most bus and then there's zombie killing in HOTD2+3R

I was a huge worms fan in college, but I'm going to take IGN's advice on this one, either a) wait for a price drop or b) wait for the sequel.

I think its actually a solid list. Three 3rd-party titles that would pass muster as disc releases (well, maybe not Worms) on the other two consoles, and aren't ports of old games
Shows a bit of hope for the improving 3rd-party condition

I'm a Worms fan, so I'll probably pick that up. Nothing else interests me.
