Capcom's press site just yielded 64 dazzling screens of Okami, showing off the PS2-to-Wii port in its full, 480p glory. Admittedly, it's not looking wildly different from the PlayStation 2 version -- this is, after all, a Capcom port -- but the Clover Studio original was such a striking game that we care not a jot. You owe it to yourselves to browse the gallery below, and for heaven's sake, if you haven't already, check out the game in motion and prepare to gasp.

I know everybody on the internet loves this game, but I just don't see it. The art looks nice, it's just - a little too busy, if you understand what I'm getting at. A little complicated...
I don't know. I'm getting the same vibe I got from Otogi 2 on the Xbox. It was really hyped but I just couldn't get into it. It was too busy and disorientating. It left me feeling a little unwell.

Did you play it on the PS2? It doesn't feel busy at all, I don't think. It looks crazy in screen shots, but once it's in motion it's usually quite subdued. Everything blends together...sometimes TOO well.
There's a lot more going on in Super Mario Galaxy than in Okami, if you ask me.
I can't wait for it, though. It's one of the few games I can say I actually beat, but the more I see of it, the more excited I get for it all over again and have to stifle the urge to play it on the PS2.

I'm still not sold.....mainly as I'm disgusted at direct last gen ports to Wii....extra levels/extra content...extra something! and I may be interested....Wii controls just ain't always enough....
But everyone loves it(except from poster 1).... everyone loves Wii(except ps3 fanboys)....seems like a good way to go....and if the games as good as the hype....then it's all good..
