Okami artwork descends from the heavens
Looking at all this amazing art -- to which the game's visuals hold up pretty well -- just reminds us of what a shame it was that Okami didn't sell, and what a shame it will be if it doesn't sell again. Maybe it'll do better now that it doesn't have to compete with Zelda.

I'm definitely pickin up the Okami art book when it comes out. And, of course, the game itself.

April 15th. Just close enough to be wiped from anyone's mind by impending Mario Kart. What a tragedy.

Then it's Wii Fanboy's duty to make sure that every Wii owner knows about this game and when it's getting released.

Don't worry, not only was it erased from everyone's mind with all those games and such... but because of JAPAN'S EVIL "we don't like things that are about our history" and "we don't like things that AREN'T like that OTHER game (aka Dragon Quest or all their other over-repeated games)", no otaku dared buy that game.
...trust me, Japan's influence on this game was strong.
By the time everyone bought it, it was too late... in the following months, Clover was disbanded, and on of their most prized employees never joined back with Capcom.
... Get the game, it's an AMAZING game that NEVER deserved to be so underrated.
YOU HEAR THAT JAPAN?!! YOU'RE NO GODS!!!

A few weeks after it first came out, my gf BEGGED to eBay the artbook, and we did, and we got it. :D Amazing artbook.
It was an amazing game. ...Japan's evil... and most of you bargain-hunters are evil too!
Because of how it sold in Japan, no otaku dared to buy it (and there were enough of them to make a difference)... and because of bargain-hunters who yammered about "I'll get it once it goes to the bargain bin since no one's buying it", IT REALLY DIDN'T SELL!!!
It was a game worth buying! And you people (not you guys) didn't support it!
And because of you people (not you guys), Clover had to go and die out on us! An amazing company died before our eyes!
Instead of becoming a unique company that made amazing and interesting games (such as Viewtiful Joe, God Hand, and of course Okami) that would survive the ages, a few stupid people gave Okami such a bad name (since no gamers bought it, other people who would have - never thought of getting it) and crippled Clover's chance to shine!
YOU PEOPLE KILLED IT (again, not you guys... referring to Japan and bargain hunters)!!! ...and one of the greatest Clover minds left and never went back to Capcom...
Clover...RIP...

I may if pushed give it look, through renting but I won't buy it...no matter how good/great a game it is....it's still a ps2 port with no extras :(
But I do agree a bit with the massive post above me(hopefully still above me) Clover had something going....then they died....
