U.S. boxart for Wii Fit celebrates diversity
It just shows people, predominantly displayed as they participate in the activities the bundle offers. Nothing to read, nothing to think about, just a visual representation of what you're in for should you sign up. It's a good way to sell it to the mass-market crowd that the Wii has been such a success with.

Only weird thing is that all of them have some kind of green trim showing on their outfit except for the second person.

That's because of the perspective. She has one leg forward, the other back. You can't tell that she's crouching though because of the stupid all-white scheme of everything.
Anyways, as for the game itself, I couldn't be less thrilled bout it. I'd much rather actually get fir, and not lie to myself. Still, prolly good for older people with arthritis and stuff to stay active. I can see the Balance Board being cool for some stuff, but not really a whole lot besides snowboarding and stuff like that.

But Tom, lying to yourself makes you FEEL better. >:D
Are you gonna' tell your wife she DOES look fat in those clothes?
... I know I do. :)
I'd like Wii Fit. I know it won't make me fit, but it'll make me want to do those things I don't like to do because its not very interesting.
Brightly covered graphics and high scores makes excercising fun!
... unless its rollerblading, then graphics aren't needed.

Ah, SoshiKitai, it doesn't work for me. And I'm not married. I'm 16. That would be kinda akward.....
But what I'm saying is that some fat people will buy this game, do 10 push-ups on the WiiBalance Board, then say "Oh boy!!!I'm as healthy as an ox!!" But really, this game doesn't look rigorous or intense enough for me. And while I wish that real life had brightly colored graphics to hold my attention while I owrk out, it doesn't....*sigh* So I just listen to my iPod. Keeps me occupied while I run.

Speaking of diversity targeted towards American audiences, where are the fat people?

Dammit, beat me to the punch by 10 minutes. I was gonna say that -- for a game targetted at getting healthy, they sure don't show any people who actually *need the help*. Like most gym commercials =-)

While this seems fun, I think that DDR has more weight loss potential. If you're good, you can burn around 1200 calories in an hour and a half.
