Other than the amazing Dracula X, there's actually a lot of really great stuff coming out in April. It has actually renewed our faith in the Virtual Console, which is why we're starting to think we're being fooled by a tragic April Fool's Day joke on Nintendo's part. Metal Slug and The Legend of Valkyrie are standouts, as is the incredibly vintage RPG Bokosuka Wars, if only because it reminds us of this shirt.
Famicom:
- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
- Sky Kid
- Volguard II
- Bokosuka Wars
- Famicom Detective Club Part II
- Heracles no Eikou IV
- Wonder Boy
- Musha Aleste
- Phantasy Star III
- Phelios
- Kirby 64
- Riot Zone
- Legend of Valkyrie
- Dracula X: Rondo of Blood
- Digital Champion: Battle Boxer
- Monster Lair
- Metal Slug

It's a good game. How is it possible that I can play it you ask? Simple. By downloading the ROM itself, of course. Sure, that may be illegal, but who cares? If Konami doesn't like people doing that sort of thing, what's stopping them from doing anything about it? What are the odds games like that will come to Europe/USA?

Dracula X Chronicles for the PSP is already out and it has the original version, updated version, and Symphony of the Night.
I don't own it, as I don't own a PSP.
Also, it is not a rom, it is an ISO, as it was a disc based game.

I hate to rain on everyone's parade, but if the text is all Japanese, considering the other import releases on VC, don't expect the text to be translated...

And I love that. Especially since the Japanese text is one of the main excuses as to why Mother 3 hasn't made it over here.
NOA...the frustration.

I had an original copy of this back in the day, but loaned it to a friend and subsequently lost touch with him.=( He also has my Macross 2036. Thomas Flint, where are you??!? I want my Super CD games back!! You can have your 3DO games--I'm done with 'em.
Anyway, I can attest to the fact that you don't need to understand Japanese to complete (and thoroughly enjoy) the game. It's not an RPG after all. The intro is actually in German or Austrian or something, albeit with Japanese subtitles.

Nintendo should add Bomberman to the next Smash for Hudson's incredible support. And it also allows a trifecta of the first 8bit and 16bit console mascots.

Why is anyone's faith restored? Besides Japan, I mean...
I'll be happy when I see some of these releases in the country I live in.
(Also, I recently discovered that the VC Gift option is limited to the country of origin, too. Bummer.)

DraculaX would be a welcome addition.
I've finished it on PC-E Super CD, the SNES less than decent port and the PSP port and remake.
While the remake is pretty, it doesn't capture the feel of the series as well as the original.
At the end of the day, I think Symphony is a much better game but DraculaX is the best of the pre Metroid cloned Castlevanias.
