NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams was one of the most important Wii games of 2007 -- for Sega nerds. For most gamers, it was "that game about the jester thing or whatever, right? I think I saw it on the shelf when I went to buy Super Mario Galaxy." Even with the prestige that comes with being the continuation of a beloved classic, many Wii platform-game fans were spending their money elsewhere last holiday season, and may have missed out on NiGHTS. Now might be the time to pick it up!
Gamestop has just lightened the game's price by $20, putting it at a very reasonable $29.99. You can buy the game and start saving up for some NiGHTS stuff!

Why has this game depreciated so quickly in price? It's a great game. I would even say it's better than Galaxy. (which is slightly overrated).
Nights is definetly my favourite game, aside from Birdman, on the Wii. Though, I have a feeling this game sold poorly. I hope I'm proven wrong because I'd love to see a sequel or something similar.

Galaxy gets the nod just on pure finished execution. No framerate dips (which is the biggest factor for me in the graphical/ technical dept.), beautiful design, neat bump mapping/blooming effects, etc...

Yeah, I didn't care for the game... I played it once and was like WTF, Nintendo Power, this game is NOT a 9.0 in my book. I guess I could force myself to play the game, but what's the point, I'm a busy guy with other games that need to be played... my copy is heading straight to eBay when I get the chance.

I liked it, but it wasn't worth $50 bucks to me, as much as I hate to say that. I wish I'd have waited, now.

Gwar... seeing the laid-back optimist as I am, I would gladly get this game for $30.
... I never got the chance to get it cuz:
1. I was a Sega Saturn-lover, but for some reason, I never got a hold of Nights.. :/ It's like destiny never allowed me to touch the game.
2. ...I have an xbox 360, and I got it late... could you imagine the amount of catching up I had to do (aka shopping spree almost every week)? ( ... it took me a while to notice that 80% of the xbox 360 games I was buying were FPSs... now it's just funny to think about it)
3. I think there was another game that I didn't buy on the first day, that I had planned to buy once I got enough money. ...so that game got in the way of me getting Nights.
But for those of you who do have it: What's the online like? Can you make pretty things? ... is it relaxing? Or is it just meh?
