WiiWare now worthwhile: Hudson reveals Alien Crush sequel, more
This AMAZING NEWS was revealed at a Hudson event in a Brazilian restaurant in Shibuya, along with Blue Oasis, a virtual fish-tank type game that interacts with the Forecast Channel. It'll be out sometime this year. Hit the break for screens, as well as some new Tetris and Bomberman images!
Both Tetris and Bomberman will have online battles -- we knew this for Bomberman, but the sight of six players facing off in Tetris is new and glorious. According to Hudson, Tetris will be out in July, and Bomberman will be out in June -- in Japan. We still have no dates for, or even confirmation of, a U.S. release for these games.

The world needs more good pinball games, aside from the one built into Windows nowadays.
Pinball is an old fad that needs to come back, those machines kick ass

Looks pretty promising. But weren't Alien and Devil's Crush developed by Naxat?

Naxat is long gone, I believe.
Much like other great companies, like Tecnosoft.
Hudson needs to buy the Tecnosoft rights so I can get Thunder Force III and IV on Virtual Console!
Hudson already has the rights for Alien Crush and Devil Crush, hence why they can make the Alien Crush sequel.

Wow. I can honestly say I didn't see this one coming. But it certainly has me excited! I hope it lives up to the original, and if it does I hope they start a whole line of Wii Ware pinball games. It's not like they could possibly have run out of ideas after aliens and demons... Insurgent Crush, anyone?

That brain and eye in the middle looks a lot like Mother Brain from Metroid.
Speaking of which, why the hell did Nintendo have to make that Metroid Pinball game focused solely on areas and enemies from Metroid Prime? I would have considered buying it if it featured recreated areas from Metroid and Super Metroid, and boss battles against Kraid, Ridley, Mother Brain, some more bosses from Super Metroid (like Spore Spawn, Crocomire, Draygon, and a Torizo), and the Queen Metroid.
