No, not Overstock.com, we're talking about this week's new releases! They all start with the letter O. Weird, huh? We think so.For us, as much as we'd like to pick up Opoona, we know we just don't have the time for it right now. Putting an RPG on our plate right now is like beating Yogi Bear to death with a picnic basket. Sure, it's the stuff that sustains us, but too much, and we die.
So we're just going to stick to shooting zombies in the face and brawling this weekend, mostly. What about you all, though? What game or games do you have lined up to play this weekend?

Opoona is an instant classic that any old school rpg'er will fall in love with. I have had a lot of fun with it so far.

The article was written by David Hinkle. Clearly, the oversized hands symbolize his own so-called "cartoon-like mitts." ;D

Actually, as much as I would like to say I made that hilarious image, I was looking around Google image search for pictures of the Overstock.com lady, and that's like the only sorta-okay one I found. I guess I should've looked at the manhands going on there before putting it up on the site.
Oh well ...

Too late... commence derailment procedures now....
And by the cut of her arms, I'm betting there's more than meets the eye in the "O".... cue Transformer transforming sound

Are we talking about the same Opoona that is getting trashed in reviews?
I have found a lot of fun in games that were 70ish games, like Contact and Star Wars: Lethal Alliance, but the criticism I'm seeing about Opoona seems substantive enough.

Oh don't listen to them... just use the Classic Controller, don't expect a FF-RPG and just play the simple RPG for what it is: Fun and simple.

I'm going to be playing Lego Star Wars. I should really get around to finishing Zack and Wiki, No More Heroes, and Mario Galaxies while I'm at it.

I started playing the VC demos include with Brawl and I ended up buying Kirby's Adventure. It's pretty good so far and this weekend I'll probably be spending time with my VC collection, as well as Brawl.

No one made an "Oh face" joke?
NWF, you have failed me.
In all seriousness, I don't think I'm too excited about Opoona. The only RPG I'm interested in playing right now is Earthbound. WANT ON VC NOW.

Don't listen to thrashing reviews people, Opoona's a great game.
Most of you people criticize those who judge a game COMPLETELY on reviews. Yet here you are, doing the same thing.
If you're into simple RPGs and as long as you stick to the Classic Controller (unless you're oddly great with the Nunchuk), you'll find the game as an instant Classic.

Arrgh stupid Firefox. Finally got around to upgrading firefox and getting no scripts and it won't send any comments.
My brother isn't good at platforming games so it's taking time to slog through SSE.
