Do wires make your life a living hell? Okay, so probably not, but if you are a bit tired of playing games with your Wii Remote tethered to a nunchuk, then peripheral manufacturer Zappies has a solution for you: its new Nunchuk Wireless Kit."But Greenhough, you deluded oaf," I hear you cry, "Such a device is already available, thanks to Nyko's very fine Wireless Nunchuk." You're absolutely correct, dear reader, but here's the thing: according to Amazon, Nyko's own wireless wonder doesn't release in the UK until May 25th, where it will sell for around £26. Conversely, Zappies' device is available in Britain (and only Britain) right here, right now for a more reasonable £20.
It works in much the same way as Nyko's model, with a wireless receiver that snaps into the bottom of your Wii Remote, and wireless housing for your Nunchuk and its obtrusive cord. Oh, and you'll get 20 hours from 2 AAA batteries. The only thing it lacks? The Wii Fanboy seal of approval.

no offense.. but who would want this POS. there is a reason it's 6 dollars less.. heck it should be much less than that. It uses batteries and the size of that nunchuck add own would be more annoying than just having the wire. Seriously, wireless is nice.. but i dont get annoyed by the wire at all.. but i would be annoyed if there was a 5 inch long stick on the end of my nunchuck though!
Sorry to go off a bit... but im just shocked they are actually trying to sell this monstrosity.

... I think I'll stick with the wires... I don't want, what is effectively, a house on the bottom of my nunchuck...

I'm up for getting rid of that stupid wire!! It always hits me in the face during certain games.. it's like a kid using a skipping rope, but my face is the ground! it gets hit.. I'm prepared to put up with extra weight to get rid of that little white line of pain!

no offense.. but what in god's name are you people doing. You know in order to get a response from the controller you don't need to flail like a monkey. Even with wii boxing I've been able to keep my movements in a controlled area pretty easy. I'm sorry, but I think people you like you, who are hitting themselves in the face with the wire... seriously need to take a chill pill. Little movements work... and are usually taken in better by the wiimote to do the action you want. When you flail around like a loony, you usually don't get the action on screen to come out correctly.
And I'm sorry.. but I'd much rather hit myself with a wire (which never happens) than hit myself in the face with that....thing.. that is hanging from the nunchuck. If you move your arms so much that the damn wire is hitting your face, don't you think a HARD and LONG piece of plastic would hit you too... and probably cause more damage? If you are a lunitic with the remote, get a nyko wireless nunchuck and go give Energizer some more money.

err.. excuse me... how do you know how I play?? Did I say I flail about? No.. I'm not some noob idiot? I totally understand the intricacies of the controls. The wire is annoying even during light play for me. I prefer to sit back on the sofa with my hands to my side, the wire prevents me from being comfortable as it stops my hands being in a comfortable position. Also it will mean I can get up, answer the phone etc easier as I won't have to take my hand out of the strap and put it down.. I can just put the nunchuk down and move about.. basically get off my log! I think its a good idea.. nuff said
