What about you all, though? What WiiWare title excites you most? Are you down with the sequel like we are, or are you looking forward to something else? Tetris, perhaps? Dr. Mario? Block Breaker Deluxe? Where do you stand right now?

The only ones i'm really looking at right now are Bomberman and Lost Winds. Puzzle games don't appeal to me, except unconventional ones like Wrecking Crew

I reckon I'll be buying Tetris and that's about it.
Lost Winds is a maybe, but I seem to recall reading somewhere that it was only going to be about 2 hours long.
It'd be great if Nintendo would release a new 2D Zelda or Mario game on Wii Ware, though. I'm really surprised they haven't announced anything like that yet.

I'm only interested in Bomberman and that's only if it's online play - I'm not sure which version of Bomberman has the online.
I really feel conflicted. I want Wiiware to have experimental games, but at the same time, when it comes down to it, I find myself being conservative and going with the tried and tested. It is rather hypocritical on my part.
But the one game I was looking forward too - Eternity's Child - looks rather...
So I don't know, maybe my conservatism is warranted. I'll wait to release and see what's there.

tetris
none of the "new" games have peaked my interest yet, but these gems with online play will be great to play, especially if they keep that demo send feature for dr mario!

Bomberman
Dr. Mario
Tetris
I've been excited for Dr. Mario since the beginning. As more and more details have been revealed, Bomberman has started to sound more and more fun. I have come to realize that Tetris may provide a unique competitive opportunity between me and some of my friends who also own a Wii.

Just bought a points card in anticipation of Dr. Mario, looks like a fantastic update, with it's new modes(including a pointer controlled mode, online mode etc.), Mii support, and being able to send demo's to people on your friends list, it really looks as though they've pulled out all the stops.
So it's Dr. Mario for 1000 points, then I'll have an extra 1000 spare on my account for whatever else takes my fancy later on.
Can't say I'm too excited about WiiWare in general though, most of the games just look like free PC flash games to me, although Lost Winds does look very promising(but 2 hours?), depends on the price.

Is that table tennis game that Japan has (that's only 500 points) coming to the US? Sorry, I'm very bad at following articles.
It's plain, and I do think I would enjoy Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games Dream Table Tennis better, but the fact that it would already be an easy option on my Wii Menu and that my gf REALLY wants it: I'm planning to get it.
Other than that, I'm getting the basics... which is practically almost everything on that list....... *sigh* This is gonna' be really expensive, isn't it?

Final Fantasy sounds great, except for the fucking nickel-and-dime bullshit. Also, World of Goo. Defend Your Castle looks fun, but I just can't see myself going to the trouble of firing up my system to spend 5 minutes on a time-waster like that. Maybe I'll change my mind later, but I'd be surprised.

It's for people who need to waste time. :P
...if only you can use a pop-up to access your WiiWare during your actual games...
...imagine loading up Defend Your Castle while waiting for the SSBB Brawl With Anyone to load up. That'd be a Godsend.

While i wouldn't be upset to see Dr Mario or Tetris (especially with 2P support) on VC, I am waiting for 2 games in particular...
Blaster Master & Snake Rattle and Roll
This combo would get me to dump ten buck on VC points REAL quick.
Also, Crusin USA is ok but i am waiting for Crusin World.

The remix of Dr. Mario, maybe Tetris (but I have a DS for that...) and the Pokemon Farm game if it's cheap. Apparently you can score a Mew...

I'm looking forward to the horror themed games like the puzzler LIT. I think there was something about a zombie or vampire game too. Not many details on either, but the concept art looked pretty stylish for LIT.

I keep thinking it's already here. It feels like it's already here.
...but it's not... so I hang my head and go about my day until that thought comes up again (or until I find something fun to do).

Unless they announce DLC for 3rd Party Games (Guitar Hero, Rock Band) as a launch partner for WiiWare, I am done with Nintendo. They can have their Wii back!
I will go and get a 360.

Oh yeah, Bomberman, Defend Your Castle, World of Goo...There's so many interesting titles on WiiWare. I feel bad for my wallet and my Wii's memory space, and my wallet is already going to die this month with what little i have left of last month plus what i have this month I have to buy Okami and MK and then in May like 8000 points for all the over-priced WiiWare games i will be too tempted NOT to buy...it's all a pile of bull this money business!

i'm really only looking forward to LostWinds and FFCC: My Life as a King. Tetris could be fun too, because the last time Tetris appeared on a Nintendo console (Tetris DS) it was great and didn't leave my DS for a motnh straight.
