According to Wiiz, Sega has officially dropped the European MSRP of NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams to €30. We haven't found the statement from Sega, but Amazon.fr reflects this price. The UK price has also fallen to around £30, but, of course, while these amounts look the same, they represent different costs. To put it bluntly, the price is still way out of hand for the UK. A Freeloader and an American copy of NiGHTS would come out to the same price, plus you'd have a Freeloader.This follows a similar price drop last week in the U.S. So even though the prices are still different across regions, they're all lower within those regions than they were before.

You can get Nights for £15.95 at Blahdvd.com, and they're also cheaper with shipping for their games compared with Amazon. But you've gotta hurry, cause Blahdvd could shoot up their prices again for Nights already next week.

I'm waiting until it hits £9.99 and THEN I'd be interested. Another disappointing SEGA title under the guise of our childhood heroes. You're playing on our noble hearts, SEGA. If Sonic Unleashed doesn't defecate gold bricks and restore my faith in your ability to make video games, I'm afraid you'll loose a long-serving SEGA fan, who's seen you through thick and thin.

Speaking of price drops, why aren't there any Player's Choice games for the Wii? It's been over a year. I just got my Wii recently, so I don't feel like shelling out $50 for Twilight Princess. The cheapest games I've seen so far are Red Steel and Shrek the Third for $20.

Welcome to business. Supply and Demand. If the demand is high enough, no need to lower the price. To put it bluntly, because people are still trying to find Wiis, they then have to find games, and so many of them will still be willing to pay full price for whatever games they've been wanting. Don't expect Player's Choice games 'til the Wii demand goes down for a bit.
