We're pretty sure that LostWinds would look much more exciting without the exceedingly mellow music. Although maybe mellowness is the order of the day for a game in which the main character's fighting style involves a breeze.
A serene video of LostWinds in action

That reminded me of Kirby: Canvas Curse.

How was that for a Kirby game, by the way?
Lost Winds does look interesting, let's hope it comes out when I have money... T_T

This game looks like something I'll be downloading, especially since I just got my router and my Wii to kiss and make up. It was pretty hot, I must say....
By the way, Kirby Canvas Curse was pretty fun for me. It's only flaw is the omnipresent "too short" syndrome suffered by the entire series.

K:CC is a great game. Definitely somewhere in the 'top 10' DS games released to date. It currently may be a bit difficult to find, though.

In mechanics too. Single-player coop is a sweet way to make something simple feel more elegant.

I'm still a bit unsure of how the game will perform, but this certainly help explain quite a bit. Let's hope it plays as good as it looks.

The only thing that could get me off the idea of buying this is the potential price tag. For $6-8 I'd buy it just because it looks cool and it has a brilliant utilization of the Wii controls. Other than that if it costs more than Ocarina on VC I'll pass unless the Reviews are really spectacular. I think Nintendo should hone down their prices a bit. Some of the titles for (S)NES are just no longer worth 8 bucks from my perspective. I can get Diablo2 for 10 bucks and I shall have to pay the same for Wave Race 64?

I agree, the VC game prices are too high. I bought the Sega Genesis Collection on the PSP for $20. If I had bought those games on the VC it would have cost me $232 (29 games @ $8 a piece) Which is completely ridiculous. I think they should start selling them in "packs" when they come out. It would also be a good way for them to pawn off games that most people would otherwise not buy.
BTW, I think Lost Winds looks great!...for $8...

Wow, this looks fantastic. Ever since I saw the first screens of this game, I was excited. Really, this game looks beautiful and that musical piece fit the game perfectly. My most anticipated WiiWare game.

Ready at Dawn need to go back to the chopping board, coz Okami's Celestial Brush can be done in real-time without the pause.
