According to a job posting over at Gamasutra, 2K Marin (the new Irrational Games) is looking for those experienced in the ways of Wii and PS3 design. Now, we've all seen these job postings never pan out into what we hoped they would before (confirmation that the game in question will release on the platforms in question), but sometimes these things pan out.
Rumor had it that the first Bioshock game was going to be ported over to the Wii, but the likelihood of that happening now is between none and, well ... none. But, could 2K Marin be developing the game with the Wii in mind from the get-go? It is a possibility. We hear 2K likes money. And putting your game on Wii gives you more of a chance to get precious money.
We'll just have to wait and see.

Or they could be thinking of developing some multiplatform games...

They're probably just making a "Circus of Value" mini-game collection.

I thought the new Irrational Games was called 2K Boston, isn't it?
Either way, i thought people were a little leery on the idea of the new BioShock, because there was some member of the original group missing, or something

Both Irrational divisions were renamed to 2K Boston and 2K Australia. Ironically, 2K Boston isn't even in Boston, it's just outside of it. =P

I really really hope so, but somehow I doubt it.

bioshock 2 starting development on wii? thats funny stuff.
anyway, it could be an original ip for the wii using the bioshock name, or it could be anything. or nothing.
the upside of the wii in the next couple years will be the user base - pretty soon there will not be any risk in creating a wii only original ip, one that cant be on ps2, and one that cant be on ps3 or 360.

They're looking for designers with 5 years of PS3/Wii experience??
Are they hiring designers from the future or is that ad a few years too early? :-)
