It infinitely ups the cool points (do they still give those out?).
But probably not for the Wii, sadly enough :(

I just want to see the integration between Ep 3 and 4. They have said this is going to answer some questions and also add some new suprises. I agree, this will be a Wii Top Seller, and just another reason for people to buy the Wii. I have friends that are huge Star Wars fans that don't own a Wii. So for $300 they can use the force and handle a lightsaber, that is nothing to SW fans who blow money on storm trooper outfits for the 501st.

I was sold when I heard that there will be Wii exclusive levels and saw the Wii control scheme. Playing as Darth is just icing on the cake.

i confess I'm already torn between the 360 and Wii versions. The recent link to a more detailed preview of the Wii version had a mix of graphics: some were outright terrible, enough to detract from playing the game.
This is a game where I think the graphics can matter in a dramatic sense: if the game's story is really good, then playing the game could almost be like watching a Star Wars movie (a good one).
That said, I'm leaning towards to the Wii version with its controls and extras.
FWIW, my son is 8 and loves Vader and Storm Troopers, which is interesting because as a kid when the original came out, I don't remember my friends and I having any fascination for Vader. I'm curious what has made Vader and the troopers more appealing.

I would guess its because Episodes 1-3 were centered around Anakin/Vader and that's what he's latched on to, especially since Episode 1 has the little boy.

I think it's because we are fans of Vader and the Troops now. Kids mimic their parents, hell I have 3 girls and they love SW! I know if I wasn't a fan they wouldn't be either

Vader = Black. Outfit. Red. Lightsaber.
Storm Trooper = I think it's the masks...

I was sold when I heard it wasn't a 360/PS3 exclusive. Sometimes all those casual gamers buying up Wii systems helps people like us get games we normally wouldn't get due to high system sales :).
Vader would be fun, but it sounds like an intro level more than anything else. However, we'll be able to play as him anyway in Duel mode for the Wii only, and that I'm excited about.
They've put a lot of love in the control scheme and it shows. I'm just glad they didn't take the easy way out and just do waggle like Lego Star Wars did.

I've been sold since it was announced that Wii owners could REALLY be Sith! Vader is just a bonus. If I was hyping it on another console, I guess I would care more.

How would vader make you buy it? If your a star wars fan youd probably be buying it anyway. Personally im buying it as it looks like a interesting game and not just a game slapped with a brand on it.

.......... I might get both 360 and Wii...
I mean, there's wielding the light saber, then there's the graphics for cinematic events (come on guys, the Wii can handle a lot more than what you guys can dish out).
I was VERY hooked to getting this game when there were no good games being released on the Wii. :P ...but somewhere between No More Heroes and Smash Bros., I totally forgot about this game.

I agree, the control scheme sold me, i figure what's the good of three physics engines if you're activating them with a simple button tap?
A more tactile control system does make a great difference in this case

Eh. If I get this game it'll be for the PS3. But, Vader's in Soul Calibur 4, so that's probably where my money will go to =D
