Who cares about Japanese sales. Why not post Norwegian game charts or Saudi Arabia. So Japanese people buy PS3. Good for them. Go ahead and enjoy the mediocre games and overpriced console.

What's wrong with buying a PS3? Unless a kid came in here saying that PS3 can kick the Wii's *ss, there's no real reason to bash on Japan for buying one.
...wait, do they even have a good amount of Japan-only PS3 games? ...do you even need that high of a graphic count just to make their usual LSGs?
