"Nintendo, with this week's four Virtual Console releases you are really spoiling us!"We feel extra special this week, because kindly old Uncle Nintendo has lavished the PAL Virtual Console (or at least the European Virtual Console) with four new titles, including another two Commodore 64 additions (both of which are cracking), and the first Master System games to reach Australia. Unusually, all four are worth a look, but Impossible Mission has a special room all of its own in this blogger's heart. As usual, there's footage of all titles past the break.

Too bad C64 isn't in America yet. I would love to play Impossible Mission again! I can already hear the scream from me falling down pits.

When I was a kid, one of my friends had a C64, and we spent quite a bit of time playing California Games. It would be fun to play it again.
But there is no virtual C64 in the US. It sure is terrible being a Nintendo fan in the US. Europe gets everything good!

Who would ever think, that even in this topsy-turvy world, that the UK would get games that the US was begging for.
What's next, cats sleeping with dogs?
California Games was a great game to play with friends, but I think would not be that exciting anymore. Impossible Mission on the other hand, now that would be a sweet game to download.

All true fans of Commodore 64 know the greatest game ever was EA's Adventure Construction Set. This was back when EA was actually made good games.

Rocketboy > possibly because the c64 was a lot more popular in europe and the uk than the us.
on that note, a bit of "poor form" from nintendo - i'm an aussie gamer and checking out the updates, in the "New System!" post that accompianies Fantasy Zone, i read this:
"blah blah blah joining the C64 as our latest system..."
which is great. considering we don't have any c64 games available in aus. thanks for, uh, paying us some attention guys.
