Heck, we can't think of a smarter way to market your product. With the Wii being the hottest item on the planet, this is sure to bring some folks in, with the hopes that they'll hit some homers and knock the price of their car down.
Of course, to take advantage of this offer, you first need to desire to drive around in a Nissan or Hyundai, since that's what kind of dealerships these are. And we're sure nobody ever paused to reflect on how great their life would be behind the wheel of an Accent. Unless you're a cafeteria worker at an elementary school or something.

Nissan is a close competitor to both Toyota and Honda. They make excellent cars that nobody should be ashamed to drive.
Hyundai isn't even in the ballpark, but at least they're better cars than ford and chevy.
If you're looking for a car, don't look at the sticker price. Go online and find the 5 year cost of ownership. This takes into account the fuel, minor maintenance, and insurance costs plus the initial cost of the car and its resale value after 5 years. Its truely the only way anyone should buy a car.

Hyundai's are frickin' awesome now. I drive a Toyota, but I've got a couple friends with newer Hyundai's. They're just as good as any of the other import labels, for less coin.

What the hell? They could spend about half the money they're going to lose and just give away a Wii with every car. If someone already has a financial plan in place to buy a car, odds are 1,000 dollars won't make that much of a difference to them - especially considering the fact that 10 home runs in a row are very hard to get, and they'll probably only save 2 or 3 hundred dollars. My point is that the opportunity to play Wii sports and save a few bucks isn't going to sell very many cars. A free Wii, however, might lead to quite a few extra purchases.

I suppose you could get some inept folks in there who might not even be able to get one home run. The dealership would not have to pay them anything in that case. If you gave out a Wii to everyone, you would automatically have paid $250.

What a bunch of idiots. First, the Wii does widescreen, so why is it set up to 4:3? Second, did you know that the Wii is a videogame system and not a device that allows you to play ghetto baseball on your TV and nothing else? This commercial was crappy and annoying. I know that the Wii doesn't have too many games, believe me, I'm still pissed that I paid full price for it, but come on - it does play a few other things than just ghetto sports 'simulators'.
