Nintendo: No issues with Mario Kart Wii that we know of
The big difference between Mario Kart Wii and Smash Bros. Brawl, the other game that has been a thorn in the sides of some folk, is that MK does not come on a dual-layered DVD like Brawl, so that isn't the situation. And, until we get a disc in our own Wii, we're just going to take all of this with a healthy supply of salt.

Wow, thats great that there are no problems concerning the game. Candace had me worried sick about this whole Doomsday MarioKart Wii thing about how the game might poison your Wii with unwanted germs or something... ok, maybe a little bit TOO exaggerated.

man, I am glad that these next 2 weeks are going to be full of NFL Draft, and a 3 day weekend trip to game and drink, otherwise I would die of anticipation for this game!

Okay kiddies. If you dont wipe the peanut butter and jelly off your fingers before handling your Wii discs they are going to get sticky and cause the games not to work. Okay old people. If you dont wipe the geritol and oil of olay off your hands before handling your Wii discs same thing. And you bastards that scratch up the rental DVDs at Blockbuster have a special ring of death waiting for you in Dante's Inferno.

I come from the great country of Europe and played Mario Kart Wii all through the weekend without having disc related problems. I do however have problems playing Rainbow Road, because I suck.

This whole Mario Kart Wii thing is funny.
It's a dual layer! No it's single layer!

Why is MKWii getting so many negative things said about it?
It's users are glitching time trials! The disc won't work!
I want to get ahead of that and see some awesome preview coverages(*cough**cough*) and the like!

Forza and GT5 (which is such a scam) are very different than Mario Kart. They do not try to replace one another, they can co-exist.
I own Forza 2, and I will also own Mario Kart. I will never own GT5 though- because they are making the prologue than the game, and it such a scam for money that it is blantant. Fuck that.

Agreed. I wonder how many more incomplete versions of the game they're going to try and sell before they release the full goddamn game already

They have always made the prologue first.
I think what you meant to say was I will never own GT5 because I can't afford a PS3.

If you're planning to preorder it, use Play-Asia - I usually get them a bit earlier than other people do when I preorder through them.

Course you could also go through costco- though they usually sell out REALLY quick :(

If it's not dust, then salt must be the problem. European Nintendo fans have much reason to fling salt when it comes to localization but please try not to literally do it.
