The dearth of top-notch Wii RPGs meant there was a quite a bit riding on Opoona, which Koei has just confirmed will be coming to Europe in July.
Sadly, some damning reviews of the game upon its North American release proved to be the thumbtack to our lovely, shiny balloon of hope, but if you absolutely must play an RPG on your Wii (and have some bizarre aversion to purchasing the masterful Phantasy Star II from the Virtual Console), then you could probably do worse than Koei's nunchuk-only "lifestyle RPG."

Lemme add to those "Damning Reviews" even though I still haven't played the game... *Simon Cowell* If I went to my mother's house and made her play this game, she would throw up fecies into a bowl, feed me it, and I still would rather eat them instead of playing this game...

But if you really think about it: It ain't BAD, it's just something completely different than what you've ever played before.
Example:
It's like trying meat for the first time, and all you've had is vegetables.

I agree with you in the sense of how it truly is "different", and how that doesn't necessarily mean it is "bad". But if we get enough posts saying it's bad [i'm looking at you Croove] it'll be rub-in-face time.
