House of the messenger bag
It's also worth noting that Amazon's "Deal of the Day" is the Wii messenger bag pictured above. If you geekified hipster types were looking for a way to lug around your Wii, this bag for $19.99 isn't too bad of a deal. But, to be honest, there are probably better means that you can use to transport your console. That's just our opinion, though. What do the rest of you Wii aficionados think?

I got that messenger bag for Christmas this year. It looks great, and comfortably packs the console, power brick, video cables, sensor bar, and four remotes -- but after that it's a bit snug. Not really any room for nunchakus, games, or other peripherals (forget your Les Paul).

I picked up the $20 Circuit City deal on Monday along with a copy of GH3. I'm loving it, but I gotta admit that I really feel like I need two Perfect Shots to get the real experience.
As far as the messenger bag goes, I'm way ahead of Amazon on that one. I bought a nice black canvas one about a year ago from Gap that's perfect for carting around the Wii, all 8 controllers, and a stack of about 10 games. It also is great for carrying my laptop or study materials (read: not locked into being a Wii bag).

I still plan to get House of the Dead. I was even going to pay $30 for it, but it came out too close to Brawl. I'm trying to space my game purchases and rentals out to no more than 1 a month. Last month it was Brawl, and this month I ended up renting Galaxy. Maybe next?

Umm.. Yeah anybody who doesnt have this game (especially all you complainers out there that claim that wii doesnt have any "hardcore" games) should really pick it up... and i'm not talking about renting, or borrowing either. This game is awsome, and is best played with the Nyko perfect shot.

House of the Dead = AWESOME. (but hard as fcuk)
Wii Messenger Bag = meh. I play my wii more at friends houses than at mine, so I've gotten really used to packing it up and carrying it around. I bought the messenger bag but wasn't really impressed. Just wasn't enough room. I cart my wii around in a Red 7 gallon Coleman cooler. I know it sounds lame but everything fits in there perfect. 14 games (in cases!), 4 remotes, 4 nunchuks, all the cables, sensor bar, 4 corded Gamecube controllers, 1 wavebird knock off, Zapper, Console (with stand), assorted extra batteries, memory cards, Zip up folder of cube games and even two Game guides. Theres still some room left, which is good cause I have to fit Okami in there the next time I pack it up. I really like my cooler it's nice camouflage. No one is going to break into my car to steal a cooler, but they might if they see a wii branded bag stuffed full of hot wii action. Plus my cooler is hard shell for extra protection, insulated so I don't have to worry about it getting cold if it's in my car while I'm at work(I work at a ski resort in Maine), and has an awesome built in carry handle. I think it's pretty cool.

I've used a duffel bag when I bring my Wii to my parents' for holidays. Basically, put a layer of clothes, the Wii, a layer of clothes, then the Les Paul (broken down into its parts) and then a last layer of clothes. Cables and controllers go into the side pockets, along with my DVD wallet that I put the games I want to bring into.

I've always thought the Wii messenger bag is like carrying a sign saying "Please Mug Me".

It's funny to see kids at my school wearing those instead of backpacks, etc. Some guy even has a Wii shirt that he wears to school. I'm essentially a nerd, but I don't come off as that weird at least.

I actually brought a "Jeep Baby Traveler" duffle bag. Diaper bags have lots of pockets for accessories. Still, it was hard to find the perfect one that didn't scream "baby" but the Jeep brand is all black with a very small logo so no one is the wiser.
