Got Okami 2 nights ago. :)
It's just as awesome as it was, but I'm still unsure of it's Wiimote-swing-attack controls... it feels kinda' off. (I never liked it in the LoZ:TP, sorry)
The Wiimote-inking isn't as accurate as the PS2-joystick-inking, but I'm sure I'll get used to it. :D
Everything else, just as awesome as it was. :)

It depends... I'll either pick up Okami or Mana Khemia, it all depends.
I've played Okami before but that hi res, widescreen glory is all too tempting to make me play it again. However, I've been interested in Mana Khemia for a while and a friend has told me that it is the right level of depth that I was hoping for from it.
It's a dilemna for me. DX

I picked up Okami yesterday and have played for about 4 hours or so. I really enjoy it. I never played it before on PS2 so it is completely new to me. It is exactly the kind of the game I have been looking for, a good solid adventure game that looks really beautiful and has satisfying controls. Thanks for telling me about this game.

As I'm in full-on Mario Kart mode, I'll be playing Double Dash on my Wii, and maybe pony up for the VC version of MK64.

I shall make this my official post to bitch about Okami:
I'll be playing Okami because it's still awesome, despite the fact that they completely fucked up the waggle controls. It's seriously the first Wii game I've ever played were I honestly felt the controls are completely non-responsive.
The brush painting works great (although it feels less forgiving about what you're drawing compared to the PS2 version), but the attack controls are just so off. Especially in a fight. The controller just WILL NOT respond at times, no matter how hard or gently you shake it. Some people say you have to find a "rhythm" to get it to respond but:
A) That's freakin' stupid in general.
B) Hell if I can find this "rhythm".
The waggle controls in general are weird in that, unlike Twilight Princess, the game waits for you to complete your motion. TP would activate the command AS you make the motion, so it feels like there's a huge delay between you and the game.
Also, the colors are too bright and it's kind of hard to read the text as a result...especially the red text.
Having played through the PS2 version, I love the subdued colors, as it made it look more like a painting, but apparently either I'm one of the only ones who got why they had those washed out colors or I just have bad taste, since I seem to be in the minority on that one.
Still, everyone should pick it up. It's still the same ol' great game over all despite the glaring issue with the waggle controls.

They said when they transferred the game, the paper-look wouldn't fully go into the Wii, but it became brighter... I'll give them the benefit of the doubt with that one.
As for the attack? Yeah, it's kinda' off. Then again, I never liked the "waggle anywhere"-attack system...
But I'll get used to it. Everyone will get used to it sometime before the middle of the game. :P
The controls are my main concern, but I'll get used to them.

See, I don't have a problem with waggle controls like that in general. I liked the in TP, even though at times it make my wrist ache something fierce.
I just hate how they're...non-responsive. It makes me think I might actually die in the game this time around.

I'm still wracking up cash for Brawl. Prom+Prom+Vacation=no $$
In any case, I'm playing Diamond like the WoW addict I once was(and want to continue being.) 145 Seen dex count, 130 caught. Soooo close to national dex, then I can catch me a Tyrogue and breed Hitmonchan with Lopunny to make the child breed with my Jolly Everstone'd Sneasle so I can have an Ice Punching Jolly Physical Sweeping Weavile to use on PBR. YAY.

*sigh* THAT'S EXACTLY WHY Okami died on the PS2.
-_-"
So many people IN Japan not getting it because it was completely new and different, and had their traditional-stories in it (ask most of the young populace in Japan, most of 'em hate anything that has their "ancient"-stories in it... unless it's a tactic game)...
...and SO many people OUTSIDE Japan not getting it UNTIL IT WAS CHEAP.

Believe it or not, I'm excitedly looking forward to playing Pinball Hall of Fame: The Williams Collection. It just showed up from Gamefly, and although I haven't played it yet, I've read good reviews and I'm looking forward to reliving some old tables from my childhood. Next up after that in my Q is Okami, and if I enjoy as much as I suspect that I will, it probably won't be getting returned to Gamefly. How great is this system becoming? Go Wii!

I've been playing Okami non-stop for two days. I never played it on the PS2 (don't have one). The only thing I have found frustrating about the controls is that I've had to do some of the celestial brush training exercises literally 30 or 40 times before anything would happen. This wouldn't have been as frustrating if I didn't have to sit through 10-15 seconds of slow-moving, insulting dialogue from Issun every single time. And sometimes my celestial brush just kind of wiggles itself around the screen erratically, making intricate motions very difficult.
The controls in battle haven't concerned me at all simply because I've yet to come close to dying as a result, and I usually get the "best tree" on time.
Still, this is a ridiculously addictive game and I'm very grateful that it has been ported to the Wii! This is a no-brainer for anyone with a taste for action/RPG's.
