Nintendo Wii Fanboy

That all sounds great, but I'm most concerned about the controls. Will it be waggle-to-whip? Or will some actual thought be put into it? I'm hoping for some simulated whip-cracking action and not simulated excited-dog-tail action. If it's done right, I'll take 8!

A bunch of us from Joystiq was playing yesterday. I left so many guys in the dust. I almost won a couple races, which is really cool because I never usually win at this game.

You say it like its a bad thing...

If they were going to do something innovative and new with the franchise, it wouldnt be going to the Wii. It would be on Xbox/PS3.

I have yet to play Brawl. I played Melee and it honestly didn't do it for me. But I hope Brawl will grab me, because I want to like it. I don't have Mario Kart either. Same situation with the old Mario Kart, except it just felt kind of childish. When I was playing it I was thinking "why aren't I playing Twisted Metal or something instead?" But now that there's no good shooting-car games to distract me, maybe MK will be great.

The games that I have enjoyed a lot on Wii are Corruption, RRR, Geometry Wars, Zak & Wiki, ...I guess that's about it. So, yeah games that I actually want to play on Wii are unfortunately few and far between. In other words, BRING ON CASTLEVANIA!

I'm not a fan of Smash Bros and Mario Kart is nothing special, just more of the same old thing with motion controls.
