So the way we see it, you have two choices:
- Go with one of our totally awesome (and totally free) homemade Wii Wheels (the option we'd recommend) or:
- Pick up the latest issue of NGamer, which comes with the above "free" wheel packed in. It's not technically free, obviously, because you'll have to pony up the £4.99 for the magazine, which optimistically suggests that the free gift is worth £7, meaning somebody in NGamer's accounting department may well be clearing their desk later this month.
Update: Corrected U.S. price.

It is $10 for every Wii Wheel! Sadly though, Chris can't do math. :P
@Everybody Else
Wow that Wheel is ugly.
I just want someone to make my Wii Wheel gold like in the Iwata Asks interview :D

Nintendo should do bulk discounts! Buy one Wii Wheel, $15. Buy two? $27. Buy three (which many people might likely do to play a full four player)? $30.

Yeah I thought they were $10. Anyway, how do you make your wheel gold? I've raced against gold wheels online and I don't know what that means.

Basically use the Wii Wheel only, online and off.
It looks cool, but it doesn't really do anything.

While $15 may equal £7 at the current exchange rate, the Wii Wheel actually costs £10 for us brits - so this maybe worth the price of the magazine after all...

I saw in this week's Circuit City ad that they're selling a 3-pack of (non-Nintendo) wheels for $15, so guess someone was bright enough to do bulk savings...
They were cute, all white each with different accent colors, blue, pink and green.

Yeah, I saw this too! I was thinking about picking them up. Has anybody seen or tried these? I couldn't find much on them anywhere online. They do seem to have an IR pass-through, trigger, etc. Seems like a good deal for $15...and apparently they will go up to $20 after the deal ends on Saturday. Might have to go check them out!

Solution 3: use the wiimote/nunchuck combo or a Gamecube controller, since they're both like 10k times better that the wheel-shaped hunk of plastic.
