Okami gets dated for Europe
Europe, are you going to wait for the Wii version to release in June? Or, are you going to check out the PS2 version instead? It's okay, you can be honest with us. We won't judge you too much.

Anyone who has waited this long for the Wii version but can't wait another month and a half without running out and getting the years-old PS2 version is in a bad way. xP

Even though the PS2 version is superior in nearly every respect, you Yeripeeins better buy the Wii version, as it's about the only shot we have at ever getting a sequel (which Kamiya has stated he'd be interested in doing in the past).

And I went to Best Buy today to get MKWii and found Okami, and lo and behold, it had the IGN watermark. =P

I'm a bit disturbed at how long they waited to make a Wii version. I mean, they did the same with LoZ:TP, but for Okami? Reminds me a lot of the Zelda series but personally, I'll probably never get it.*Persuade*

why cant they group England, America and Australia in the same zone? Its not like much needs to be changed from American English to British English...
or better yet just get rid of region coding so people who can read American English (which is sooooo different from British English) can just import the damn game when it comes out.
Still, the wait till Okami gives me plenty of time for No More Heroes.

The reason they cant link us in with America is because of the age old PAL and NSTC television madoogle. Then there would also have to be a stupid amount of software to be shipped across to these three regions and ontop of that we also get lumped in with the rest of Europe so when a game comes out here Nintendo likes to release it across Europe at the same time meaning that time needs to be spent translating to the million and one languages.
Back on to Okami, I cant wait to get it, I almost bought a ps2 just to play it, then I realised its like gold dust to find the UK so I will sit and wait patiently.

It's still an idiotic excuse. The ratings board over there needs to get off their high horses. If most of europe's legal drinking age is 18, I don't see why they need a freaking ratings system for video games.
Yes, I'm comparing the two even though they may have nothing to do with each other. But still, all the television and ratings and crap like that, they seriously need to just get over it.
But who cares, there's freeloader. If a european player wants brawl or the bloody version of NMH, they can get it.
Sure it's extra cash but let's face it, you guys are typically shafted in terms of prices anyways, so why not make it a one time price, buy freeloader and just play it that way?
Moving on, it's nice to see that they're becoming SOMEWHAT effecient in getting games out to you guys. At least it's not like KHII, where it took like... What, a full year if I remember correctly?
