If, for some reason or another, you missed out on Super Paper Mario's GameCube predecessor, Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, here's your chance to pick up the title that won the "Console Role Playing Game of the Year" award at the 2005 Interactive Achievement Awards, without having to feel guilty about spending too much money on an RPG released all the way back in 2005.Amazon has slashed a sizable chunk from The Thousand-Year Door's usual $19.99 pricing, and for the duration of the day (or while stocks last) you can buy the game for only $11.99. You can stash the money you'll save in a fund for eventually buying a copy of Super Mario RPG!

Everytime I see prices like this, I hate the fact that I can't get games that cheap in The Netherlands :p
Don't know about amazon's handling & shipping costs to the Netherlands, but I can't imagine it being anywhere near cheap :p

I've had this title in my amazon wish list for awhile now, and after telling my wife about the sale she ordered it for me, saying that it's a perfect gift for me for our first year anniversary because it has the word paper in the title. (Our anniversary is 2 weeks away).

Tell her to order this game for you now because of the same reason - it has the word Paper in the title.
Congrats BTW

SMRPG is selling for that much? Impressive!
Would y'all believe I have an SNES, one controller, and SMRPG cartridge stored away for the once-yearly craving I get to play the game? It's the only reason I've kept it. I've been holding on to it all for YEARS.

I, too, have an SNES just for SMRPG
(well, that, and the Mega Man X trilogy, which is no longer SNES-exclusive).
Geno, Boshi, and Culex all need a comeback!

I almost threw that game out the window (literally) after getting killed by the final boss. I was literally a few hits away from finishing her off and I got hit with three poison mushrooms. I've never played it since.

Amazing game, one of my favorite rpg's. I hope they make a third Paper Mario instead of continuing with the 'Super Paper Mario' trend. Don't get me wrong, it was fun...it just lacked the depth and charm of 'Thousand Year Door'.
SEEKWUL PLEEZ!

I just got that off of amazon (used) for like $12 several months ago.
great game, but i couldn't play it for a month, and now i seriously can't remember AT ALL what i was supposed to be doing. I just wander around hoping to figure out where i'm supposed to go. :( (and Smash Brothers takes up the little time i have to play anyway.)

I rented it once, put it down for over a year, then finally bought it.. it was extremely difficult to pick up where I left off (maybe 5 hours into it) but it eventually worked out and I *think* I saved more time by not restarting.
Of course, due to Brawl (and Kart), I'm now off track with Super Paper Mario (...and Zelda:TP).
Hey, maybe one day I'll actually *open* Zack & Wiki and Okami!

I let my sister beat this yet I haven't. I helped her beat the Shadow Queen and Bonetail though.
