I am somewhat suprised with the scope of the appeal as well. However, my wife is 10x more excited about this than she has ever been about a video game though. I do not expect this to be a satisfying "gaming" experience as much as an interesting and entertaining piece of hardware/software.

I wasnt expecting to buy it either but the hype got the better of me...Plus having my $10 GC to walmart.com due to the Brawl screw up (Thanks wiifanboy!!) didnt hurt. And now I have another $10 GC to walmart.com for mario kart wii. Seemed wayyy too good to pass up!

I don't care I can't pre-order it from anywhere, I don't have the money for it right now. I can actually wait until I have money, and by then store will probably have it in stock. I don't see getting the money for it any time soon.
