Rubik's World looks neat, is presumably a game of some kind
The press release accompanying the game refers to stuff like living "Cubies" you can interact with, music composition, and unspecified puzzles of some kind, as well as the classic Cube gameplay. We hope that whatever this turns out to be is as cool as it looks, because we could spend quite a bit of time staring at what basically amounts to 3D pixel structures.

The game will just be a Wii version of the actual Rubik's Cube AND NOTHING MORE and it will cost the full $50 at launch and it will sell MILLIONS!

1. Nothing more? Then what the hell is that tree? Where the hell do you find a Rubik's cube shaped like a tree?
2. And how do you assume it'll sell millions? People may love Rubik's cubes, but people also love Jenga and board games.
And if you noticed, BOTH games that have such features, couldn't even get near the million-mark.
3. Do you assume it'll sell millions possibly because of your distaste for Boom Blox? Open assumption.

I won't buy it unless it does have a 'classic' puzzle somewhere, solving the original cube with wii controls sounds fun. Racing my ffriends online would be even more fun.
I have never enjoyed any of the Rubik's Cube spin-off puzzles as much as I enjoyed the first, and I talk to my cubies already (Goddamnit, Blue-Yellow-Red Corner! What are you doing out of parity!?! If I've told you once..."
But for a solid, basic version of the cube on the Wii I would be willing to pay a nice sum of money, so long as it is easy to control. I'm not a speedy cuber like the guys on you-tube, but I'm mainly held back by the physical limitations of my cube-spinning skills. I would hope that I could have a faster virtual solving time than my real world cube allows.
