Now that a weekend (and a holiday weekend at that) has come to an end, we thought it might be a good time to ask: when was the last time you got together with friends and/or family for a little group Wii gaming? Do you get together on a regular basis for a little Mario Kart, Smash Bros., or Wii Sports? Do you rarely play together with folks? We're curious about how much multiplayer action you're getting.Wii Warm Up: Getting together

I had no less than 10 people sitting on my sectional last night, watching and playing Wii Sports boxing, Mario Kart, and Smash Bros.
Ranging in age from 48 down to 4.
I heard a few comments about "picking up a wii" if they see one. I did my part in spreading the gospel.

If Online counts, I play with others all the time. I'm not crazy about having alot of "Friends" over to play wii, because other people can't respect other peoples stuff. I have to wait for family to come in from Ohio if I want to have people playing at home.

There's usually between 6-8 of us that get together, have a few drinks and play wii games. Usually Guitar Hero 3, Wii Sports, Mario & Sonic, or Mario Kart Wii :)

I wish we had more time to have people over, but unfortunately, my gaming sessions usually don't begin until after 10...so that rarely occurs...I'd say about 3 weeks ago was the last time we had any sort of get together.

i played wii sports with my mom, my fiance's mom, both my sisters, and my fiance all yesterday afternoon. mario kart is good, but wii sports seems a little more engaging for that type of thing. now it's back to super mario galaxy for me!

EVERY weekend since I have had my Wii........We normally throw down Brawl or now Kart but sometimes we have been known to play casual mini games......normally its a group of 4-5
Then during the week I normally have 1 single player game I grind through......right now its Okami......which i like alot but it still feels weird and can be a little frustrating

I wish the Wii would have come out right in that time period after college when I still had roommates and none of us had anything to do with our lives other then "fixing up our resumes". I can't imagine we would ever leave the house. Instead it came out a couple years later when most of us have wives and kids. The Wii get togethers are few and far between. When we do it is a lot of Wii Sports and a little bit of Mario Party. I am trying to introduce Mario Kart, but there is resistance.

my gf and i have moved away from our hometown, so we don't get to see our friends from back home very often. every so often, we lure some of them over and we always end up spending hours just playing smash bros brawl, mario kart, or guitar hero 3.

Saturday night my brother and buddy played a little Wii Bowling. The weekend before that my brother, girlfriend and another buddy got together and played a little Wii Bowling and Mario Kart Wii. The weekend before that a bunch of friends got together for some Wii Bowling.
Noticing a trend? "Wii" like to bowl! (Ba dum bum!)

Every now and then, my family gets together and play some Wii Sports. I'm mostly a loner but I do like to get with people for a game. I'm going invest into more mutliplayer titles like Mario Party 8.

Usually it's just me playing, but this weekend some friends were over and we all took turns with Mario Kart, Brawl, and Guitar Hero. It was a last minute event in terms of planning but hopefully will lead to more.
