What's the worst thing that could ever happen to you? Okay, scratch that, try not to think about that. What's the worst thing involving video games that could ever happen to you? Well, our worst fear has been realized, thanks to a Sam's Club employee.
You see, Sam's Club shopper Shawn recently found himself inside one of the huge warehouses, shopping for that 82-pack of tube socks we assume, when he stumbled upon a Wii, sitting there for sale. What happened when he tried to buy it? Well, he was denied his console, because it was being set aside for a "Grand Re-Opening" for the store. Horrible, right? We think so.
Seriously, we would've been screaming at the store manager. But, in the end, it's not like it would've mattered. We would have fought to give the jerk retailer money, so maybe losing that sale was a good thing. Not for Shawn, though. Sorry, buddy.

Or you could pay the extra 50 bucks or so, and get one on ebay. 50 bucks plus a minor moral defeat certainly didn't stop me when it came time to buy a second one for my brother's family at xmas.
Wiis are easy to come by, just not at retail and not for the MSRP.

I've never seen at Sam's where Wiis, or PS3s, iPods, or just about anything electronic over $200 is actually on the floor. Usually you get the stylish cardboard replica to pay with, then either they dig one out or you get it at Photo.

If I was him, I would cancel my membership to that piece-of-shit store and demand my money back for the rest of the year that I'm not going to use. I wouldn't pay someone to shop somewhere then have someone tell me I couldn't buy something there. They won't get free money from me.

I believe it to be illegal for a store to deny purchase if they have the product in stock and displayed.
False advertisement
Also if a sale is over but the sale displays are still and and item are marked they have to honor the sale.
I am not necessarily saying to take legal action but there is something could be done
