The steady flow of content continues this week, as those of us here in North America get our hands on some WiiWare goodness, as well as a pair of new Virtual Console titles. And, one of the Virtual Console downloads is an import, with the other being a classic that many are going to be waiting to download as soon as the clock strikes 12pm ET today.
Wii Ware download this week:
Virtual Console downloads this week:
- Dig Dug (NES, 1 player, 600 Wii Points)
- BIO MIRACLE BOKUTTE UPA (NES, 1 player, 600 Wii Points)
So who's downloading what?
Update: Fixed the price on

Are they giving out Mews on the Pokemon Ranch? I know they're giving out Deoxys at Gamestop this month.
Regardless, I'm buying the Ranch and the Bio Miracle, and gifiting the Bio Miracle to as many people as I can afford. These Japanese exclusives must be appreciated by as many people as possible!

I've said it before and I'll say it again, I'm not much for NES games, we need more SNES and N64 games.
As for this Pokemon game... is it really worth 1000 points? It doesn't look like you really DO anything...

I just bred 60 Magikarp and I need to get them off my game because they all had bad stats. Since I am a lazy bastard who doesn't want to release them, I'll stick them in the Ranch.
Also, free Mew.

From what I heard, Dig Dug was a Japan-only NES game.

Japan only? No, I'm pretty sure I remember playing it on my NES as a kid. Of course, that may have actually been one of those controversial Tengen releases. Like the NES version of Shinobi.

@cyber-tyrant:
dig dug was originally an arcade game, i think. it would be cool if the virtual console had arcade games available, for a lot less.

I played the crap out of Dig Dug on my Atari 2600 and I'm mighty tempted to get it for VC. Might make for some great late-night drinking entertainment.
