If you're buying a GameCube controller at Amazon, why not buy a cheap Wii game to go with it?NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams is now marked down to $20.09 at the online retailer, which is a hard-to-resist price for an unused copy of Sega's game. Although it didn't get the best reviews, twenty dollars isn't a lot to ask when it comes to reliving a beloved franchise.
Does anyone who owns NiGHTS want to make a recommendation for or against it?

I got this for $20 last week and for that price I would definitely recommend it. Esp for fans of the original this is great, and for what it is everybody who isn't a stuck-up shooters-only type will really like it.

Come on, do we really have to justify buying the best game on the Wii.

I have Nights on the Saturn. thats enough.
the hub world and lame tutorials totally ruin what would have been a fine but unexceptional follow up.

I love the original on Saturn, and $20 isn't too much to ask for its sequel. I still haven't gotten around to beating it, but it's those on-foot stages that get me. Other than that and the so-so voice acting, it's a very good game for the price.

Loaded this one up maybe twice in total - less than five levels completed. It's great until things get complicated, or even basic. There's just no explanation of what you're supposed to do, the player is simply left to figure it out.
Oh, that and the plot is riddled with holes and stupid characters that aren't NiGHTS. Also, unjustified use of weird capitalization is alienating and stupid.
Ahum yeah. I just didn't get into it. Maybe it came out a bit too close to some other good stuff, and it got piled under things, I can't recall. In any case, nottasofunna.
The Wi-Fi use is pretty cool though, but the usual Nintendo e-blindfold and virtual-gag is on and tight, you can't talk to other players, but you can summon up some delightfully vague emotes. (also you can hump people. This may or may not have been intended by Sega.)

If you didn't own NiGHTS on Saturn this game will feel very young for you...like a challenging(If you have OCD) game but the story was made for 10 year olds. If you did have Saturn or you are a Sega/Sonic Team buff you might want to get it cause its NiGHTS, plainly said. Either way if you are 20+ this game might have the tendency to make you feel like a pedo. "Go ahead, touch NiGHTS..."
