Ultimate Band was initially announced as being the peripheral-free answer to Rock Band and Guitar Hero, but now that rumored versions for the Xbox 360 and PS3 have been announced, word is that there will also be a version with instruments that will retail for $170.

absolutely horrible, the idea/conscept made me think, oh, this sounds like a good idea, not spending a load of money for a music game, but just watching the idiot do that, i'm just holding on to my guitar hero controller even harder. besides, i bet there is no multiplayer support?

ARGH! This was so close to a actual use of the Wii Controller. I'm so disappointed by how close this came to being a game I would have considered Interesting. Too bad the Covers sound like they were made by a drunk 12 year old boy who has been repeatedly kicked in the balls.
