While most debut trailers are full of pre-rendered cutscenes and CG, we're glad to report that the first glimpse at Star Wars Clone Wars: Lightsaber Duels actually has quite a bit of gameplay in it. And, based on what we saw, it looks like the action is going to be spot-on. The timing looks good and the speed of combat seems intense enough to warrant our attention. We're still not crazy about the game's look, though.
What do you all think? Looking forward to taking out the Sith trash? Going to crush the Jedi order?

Knowing what they've done for controlls for Unleashed so far, I don't see how anyone could be worried about controls on this game.
One thing though... PLEASE turn down the blur effect on those sabers! While there is supposed to be some, the light seemed to have tails waaaay too long on them when the saber was moving.
Either way, the graphic style will work perfectly for Wii. We all know stylized graphics look better on this system than realistic graphics, so I'm happy with the direction.

i am excited about this game. the controls will be fine, people still play boxing and i think those controls are off quite a lot. i think the look of the game works too, it is done just like the tv show is being done so it will fit in nicely. i just hope there is a little story behind it and not just a fighting game becuase that would be my disappointment.

which then makes sence.. and people who don't know of the cartoon or whatever obviously won't understand the decision fully.

Its called "Lightsaber Duels" but it looks just like any other Star Wars platformer with the addition of waggle. I'll pass, they got my hopes up on this one and now I'm really disappointed.
