Nintendo's resident psychopath Wario finally has a face for the shelves outside Japan, and it's a bit of a love-hate boxart. It's classic Wario stomping (well, shaking) his enemies all over the place and acting like a total badass. On the other hand, it seems a little ... brutal. Ostentatious even? This blogger loves any chance to use big words he doesn't even understand, so a debate over the quality of this box is more than welcome.Wario Land: Shake It! has taken clearer form just recently, as we all bask in its beautfulness. It might be the title to return the series to its original pedigree of excellence, and the release date isn't too far away. The no holds barred violence on the case shouldn't discourage parents from buying this one for their tots, because a nice little E for Everyone is sitting right there from the ESRB. They are always right.

No, you're not. It's a 'Day 1' purchase for me.
I just hope it has plenty of content. One defining characteristic of so many of those older 2D platformers was the wealth of stages to play through. I expect nothing less with this title.

What is really awesome is the way that image is cropped in the gallery...
it says:
ARIOLA Shake it!!! (okay the spelling isn't perfect, but that's just darn funny).

They are, aren't they? That's the first thing I noticed. o.o
But yeah, I really don't get what's so "aggressive" about the cover. Like, oh noez, it's a fat plumber shaking a Sonic-shoe wearing ball-thingy!! That's, like, so GTA!!!

I am so freaking excited for this game. I think Mario Galaxy is my favorite game for the Wii, but a close second is Super Paper Mario. I absolutely love 2-D platforming more than any other game genre. And WarioLand is one of my favorite franchises. I will definitely be getting this the day it comes out. I can't wait.

You'd have to be some kind of Mr. Roger's, super-sheltered pansy to think this is at all a harsh cover. Man, Kirby games have more angry boxart than this.
It's cute. Wario's nose is pink and he's wearing Barney-purple overalls. Come on~

It is truly the return of pure Wario
An event unlooked-for, but greatly appreciated. Hell, i might pick this up later this year instead of Sonic Chronicles

I'm not so sure it's the "violence" that would hold parents off from buying this for kids...
I think it's more of the "It's your fat uncle trying to shake money off of everyone" that would turn parents away.
Oh, and I'm looking forward to this game... I just wonder if I'll have money for it.
