Who loves you, baby? We do, of course! That's why we strive, each and every day, to provide you with all of the Wii news and community content we (hope) you crave. And, we're one step closer to achieving that goal we sacrifice so much sleep on chasing, thanks to the handy little tables on the right sidebar there. We're talking about the Events Calendar and Hot Topics section.
What are they? Well, we would hope the titles make them pretty obvious, but we'll try to explain them as best as we can. The Events Calendar is something that will be home to all of the hot upcoming events, including games, shows and anything we feel you fine folk need to know about in advance. There, you'll find links that direct you to various topics on the site. Hopefully it'll make your time here a bit easier.
Second, we have the Hot Topics section. This area is where all of the most popular posts will go. Sure, we have areas where the topics that get the most comments are listed, but that isn't the same here. These are stories that are being read by the most amount of people, our most popular pages. So, if you're looking for the day's hot stories and don't want to skim down the whole page, just check out the box here.
We would just like to take the opportunity to thank each and every one of you for checking out Wii Fanboy. We try our best to make sure we have the most up-to-date content and informed Nintendo-loving community on the net. With your help, we'll keep working every day to attain that goal. Thanks for reading!

I was wondering why that appeared all of a sudden
But it works, i think. Gives the site a sleeker look

Any way to get the Events Calendar to let us look at past and future events that aren't listed there?
Otherwise, great changes!

I love the events calendar- keeps me up to date about game release dates as well as other big events happening in the gaming community.
I'm so happy I found Wii Fanboy. Its the first place I go for all my Wii news. I'm constantly checking my RSS feed for new stories, and clicking on them as soon as I see them
Keep up the great work guys!

The deal with the date came from me. I'm trying to figure out where I got it from (most likely a post from here), but it sounds odd to me too. A Tuesday, and all ...
As soon as I get something reliable that says otherwise, I'll update it. If you find it before me, let me know!

Isn't Tuesday WiiWare day in the US? (I'm in the UK, so... if not, blame my lack of interest ;) )
And, any chance you can shift that "Share" thing, or at the very least make it Click-to-activate.
"My other pc's a Celeron", and it really doesn't like that thing popping up every few seconds as my mouse flails randomly around the screen.

I wish I could change that for you, but, sadly, I cannot.

I definitely like the Event Calendar. I always have a hard time keeping track of upcoming releases.
I would have thought E3 would be listed under it though, but I guess it's only for games?

E3 was there, but now is not. In changing it, I must've deleted it. I'll add it back in now.
You can bet we'll be all over E3 this year. :)

I agree that E3 and other gaming events should be listed on the calendar.
