What do you all think? Does Star Wars: The Force Unleashed sound like fun to you? Do you think the game will be as endearing as some of the better Star Wars games of the past?

"create a Wii port of a multiplatform title that actually sounds like it could be better than the other versions available"

No offense, but not many Americans are into that.

Not sure if anyone will be offended by that comment, but it does seem like a complete non sequitur.
Haven't played ProEvo (Winning Eleven over here) yet, but plan to pick up a copy eventually. By all accounts, it does seem like the Wii port of this multiplatform title is indeed better than the other versions available. Hopefully the Forced Unleashed will continue that trend ... and dare we hope for even more?

From the beginning, I've been rooting for the Wii in this. Sure, the others have good graphics, sure, the others have good physics, but can you really be a Jedi? The Wii version was built from the ground up for the Wii, the dev team put a good focus in the system's strengths and weaknesses. For strengths, they used the accelerometers for input for force moves, for weaknesses, they added bloom lighting and some other special effects. They should be given credit for having graphics this good, it's a feat for third party Wii devs (RE4 does not count).

I would love to see more developers do this. It's great to see a game released for all the platforms that uses each ones strengths. This way the Wii owners get the interaction they want and the 360/PS3 owners get their graphics. It might even allow them to sell more games to the people that have both Wii's and 360/PS3's.

Before MK Wii launched, I admitted, of the known titles releasing this year, there are only five titles I will definitely purchase,
SW:FU for the Wii is one of those titles!!!

Hmm, just a question: The graphics in this game are similar in quality to, like, Resident Evil 4 or what?
I'm buying it regardless of the graphics, but still, it would be nice to know.

"Come on, ripping off turrets and using them to fire at people with your mind while you cut down countless enemies with your lightsaber? That sounds awesome."
I honestly CANNOT get over that. I think I really do have to go for the Wii version.

From the videos and promos, I have to say this game looks like it could be THE Wii title. I've been waiting for a title that really makes the most of the Wii's controls and puts you into the expirience, instead of just mashing buttons. There are so many crappy control schemes out there that make me wonder, "do they have a test team, or do they just not give a f&*# about Wii owners?!"
There are a handful of good control schemed games out there, RE4 (even though it's a port), Metroid, MOHH2, etc. but there are so many more that just plain suck.
I'm really excited for this title, but I hope it doesn't disappoint.
