We're not sure if PCs need motion controls, but it's an intersting concept. After trying out the controllers, though, MTV Multiplayer's Patrick Klepek described the experience as "touchy," which sounds ... not good. They also don't come cheap, as the 200 retails for $39.99 and the 400 for $49.99.
Are any of you Wiimote lovers excited to try this out on your computers, or do you think it's just a silly idea?

I'll be waiting for hands on reports with the device, but it seems interesting enough.

Of course I'd want to have WiiMote functionality on my PC. Think of how much easier it'd be to homebrew Wii-Esque games... not mention my Nvidia card can force antialiasing and anistropic filtering on any 3d rendered game. Don't get me wrong, I don't think it'll be a replacement for my Wii, but it would be a great addition to my arsenal of controllers, and might even convince me to get back into coding and game design.

Seeing as a wiimote already connects to a PC through bluetooth and can be programmed to do just about anything with glovePIE...these seem kinda pointless, I personally wouldn't bother investing in something I already have.

WHY?
Why would anyone want to stand in front of their desk to play a game when there is already a mouse available for quick and accurate pointer/motion based input? They can add this to the growing heap of niche input devices like the P5 VR glove, and USB dance pads.

an 8 dollar blutooth adapter for the computer from amazon will let you use the actuall wiimote on your pc. I've already made a game using it.

Um, the controllers look like complete ripoffs of Nintendos wiimote and nunchuk. Didn't Nintendo just sue Neyko (can't remember the name) for blatantly copying their design. Looks to me like they need to go after these idiots. It's sad that everyone trys to copy Nintendo on everything -.-

Dumb, given that the wiimote is blue tooth and works just fine on the PC. If I were to do any PC gaming with motion controls, I will just use the high quality real thing thank you.

I... have a mouse? Perhaps I sit too close to my computer while playing games, but I can't see how this would be comfortable or desirable.

Well, the 200 model (with the green light) looks like... something bad. Did they run out of paint or something? Also, as the ones before me said, the wiimote can be used on the PC without much hassle. And why would I get one of these to play those Flash games on their site that I've seen on other sites and played with my mouse with no problems?
