Granted, this list is from Microsoft's E3 keynote, so you should be a little wary -- although these tracks were announced for Rock Band 2, they weren't necessarily announced for the Wii version. Still, unless Harmonix really, really hates Wii owners to the point that they'd gimp in-game content, too, we'd say you don't have much to worry about.

Personally, I'm not that excited about this setlist. There's some good stuff on there, but there's even more crap.
Also, unless the Wii version gets DLC, Harmonix *does* hate Wii owners, because there will be 20 tracks worth of FREE downloadable content after the game's initial release.

I'm going to have to agree with you. RB1 and GH3 were much better tracklist wise. And I highly doubt Harmonix is going to treat Wii owners any better this time around.

Didn't they already do that once? I could easily see them doing it again.

How do you not like Fleetwood? Its a classic song by an outstanding band.
You need to broaden your horizons a bit more.

I think a voice and sound that screams Rock is that of Chris Cornell...we had Black Hole Sun on RB1, but I think Spoonman is really a better choice.
He's got impressive range, though, maybe they're shy of getting people to sing that stuff.
Still, I think it's prime stuff for downloadable content. There's a Chris Cornell solo record due in fall, so maybe we'll see some of that. However, it's produced by Timbaland, so it might not fall into 'rock.' Eh, maybe stick with the classics. I'm still waiting for Guitar Hero or Rock Band to pick up some Audioslave tracks -- Tom Morrello is more than just RATM.

At least they have good music sprinkled in there. Ya'know like Panic at the Disco (Oh I was so sad when they took out the "!"), Fallout Boy (Most original band I've ever heard), Atlantis Morset (And to think, the world almost got finished forgetting about her, way to go Harmonix), and finally - the best hardcore punk band ever created: AFI!
And I have a Wii so clearly I'm getting the best deal here.

Those that are slammin' this list for not having great songs: You have terrible taste in music. There are at least 20 songs on here, from all sorts of various styles and eras of rock'n'roll that absolutely have to be rocked.
Sure... there's plenty here that doesn't float my boat, but the good to great stuff on this list is better than any other collection in the previous incarnations of RB, or the GH Franchise.
Top to bottom, its the best songlist out there

Considering that european wii owners haven't even got RB1 yet, or even a release date!, any RB related post is just insulting for me.
Gimped version, horrendous price, non-existent release/date - Harmonix/EA must really hate us. Did we bully/kill/cheat on them in a past life or sumthin????

Without DLC, the set list doesn't matter. And, I already have a GH guitar; I'm not throwing that investment away to buy all new instruments. I think Activision is evil for forcing this situation, but there it is.

Look its quite simple if you don't like the gimped wii version, get a 360. If you dont like some of the songs don't play them. If You want different songs then you can download more songs. Harmonix has a huge supply of songs for DLC (for 360 only tho).

FINALLY!!! AC/DC made it in a guitar/band game but why that song? :( should of been hells bells or highway to hell well I'm kinda disappointed in this list also they should of added another guitar (ya know as in someone play lead guitar) like songs that have 2 guitars you get used to playing a rhythm to guitar "A" all of a sudden your playing guitar "B" I dont know about everyone else but it's hard to find a singer why not have 2 guitars a bass and drums? ya know what they say "what do you call the a person surrounded by musicians?....the singer"

I'd be upset about the RB2 track list IF I didn't already own RB1 and a ton of DLC. As it stands, though, I think it will make an awesome supplement to the tracks that are already out there. Sure, there are songs on RB2 that my 'band' will only play once or twice (just to unlock), but there are also enough great songs on there to more than justify the $60 asking price, considering that I would buy more than 30 of these songs if they were offered as DLC at $1.99 apiece. Plus, who knows what the additional 20 free downloadable songs are going to be??? While I do sympathize with Wii owners (I own both the Wii and the 360) about the lack of DLC, I also feel that any wrath directed towards Harmonix isn't deserved. You, as did I, bought a Wii to experience motion control and first-party Nintendo titles, not for power, additional feature sets, or robust online. DLC tracks weigh in at 30 - 45MB each, which would really eat your 512MB internal storage quickly. Obviously, licensing and piracy issues prevent saving songs to SD cards, which I fully understand and agree with. Just as I can't play Smash Bros. on my 360, you cannot have it all with the Wii- something that, as I said, you KNEW when you purchased it. The solution here is to buy a 360 or (gag) a PS3 and enjoy the game as it was meant, with HD graphics, Dolby Digital surround, a HDD, and proper online capabilities. I realize this is an expensive solution, but hey, we're talking about a $170 game here, so it's not like anybody here is living in a box under the bridge. You're better off saving your pennies and going this route than being angry at Harmonix for not being able to squeeze all these features into the Wii version. I'm sure that, since DLC is incredibly profitable for Harmonix, they would include it if it were feasible. As for the Europeans, well, that sucks and really is inexcusable. I've no idea why you must wait so long to rawk. There is always eBay, I guess...
