Look what we found while browsing GameTrailers for the best part of half an hour and being exposed to that awful yoof-oriented Extra Fusion gum advert far too many times: moar Conduit.
This footage was snapped on the E3 showfloor yesterday, and features a High Voltage developer (it's not revealed who) gushing about normal mapping and a "lot of effects usually seen on PS3 and 360" as his colleague navigates and blasts his way through alien-infested streets on easy mode. Die, scum! In truth, it's basically how The Conduit has always looked: really, really clichéd, but also really, really pretty as well.
A longer second video follows the break!

Looks incredible. You get to blow up Washington DC? Sounds like a post-election game to me!!
If you ask me, it's the AI that is going to make or break this title.

Well that one alien decided to take cover after seeing the character. That's a good sign.

maybe Nintendo is stepping back because they see the Third Party developers stepping up.
I just hope there's enough people to buy this game. They need to promote the hell out of it! Otherwise this will just be another team that ends up selling their IP to Sony and Microsoft.

On a related note, i think that because animal crossing CF and the Wiispeak mic will be available by fall, a few months before this games release, I think this game will feature voicechat for online multi

I really, REALLY hate when most people that talk about this gave have to start off by saying its a "cliche". What FPS isnt? Why is it that when there are so many titles released on other systems that are World War FPSs, bash up games, fighting games, RPGs, and so many other genres; that you never really find that much talking about it as a "cliche", but what it brings new to the table?
I dont give a sh*t if they rename this game Malo or Perfect Light, this game is gonna own! :)

Great graphics, great gameplay, online modes...this game looks awesome. All it needs is confirmed WiiSpeak usage in every online game mode and not just friend-only and this game will be perfect!

When will developers realize that things don't look good covered in plastic wrap? I don't know what it is with next gen games and shininess. I think it looks terrible (the shininess, that is - the rest of the game looks great).

So that "red-rimmed eye" thing is looking through one of those alien scopes
Respectable AI, great graphics, decent weapons, and a means to interact with your environment beyond trying to blow it up
The all-seeing Eye distinctly reminded me of "Scan Visor + X-Ray Visor"

The game itself doesn't look like too much(judging by really short clip). I'm more excited about the fact that someone was able to use the Wii's power to make something that looks so good. Even if the game flops, they could easily license the engine to the next game company who thinks they can revolutionize FPSs for the Wii. Still, I'm hoping that the conduit can do just that on it's first try.

The story dropped for better graphics at atleast decent FPS gameplay.
I'd hope for better gameplay, but the easy mode doesn't seem to show any horrible problems.
I cant wait to try it out.
I really hope this engine is used for more stuff too.
It looks like its capable of alot of good looking things.
This engine is what we've been wanting, even if the game sucks I may just drop the cash for it.
Though it cetainly looks better than Red Steel and that wasn't too bad itself. So I dont see alot of loses.

adan, apparently they still arent taking publishers until they get near to finishing the game, because they dont want them to mess with the story or mechanics or anything, and they said Q1 09 o_O. needs moar playable demo, wtf ever happened to demos man? P.S this was the only good thing to come out of E3, this and dead rising i guess
