E308: The Conduit will use WiiSpeak

High Voltage today revealed to Kombo that new fan-favorite FPS The Conduit is confirmed for 16-player online multiplayer, but should also incorporate voice chat with WiiSpeak. Good thing it's going to be sold separately. Of course, now that's got us wondering who else is going to use it, and for what. But as for chat in The Conduit, we hope to see more details soon.

Yay! I know I will be getting WiiSpeak now! If it works on The Conduit it will be worth it enough, but with voice chat for it and Animal Crossing...I can't wait 'til November and then Early 2009!
(Well, that is if I can get $80 between now and November...)

Wii Speak Conduit: I am for sure getting Wii Speak I thought it was a myth to have Voice chat with this game but Wii Speak is way better than Ear peices and it's a genius idea.
And 16 players? Hoorah!

I'm not an "imposter". I was playing AC: Wild World a lot back when it came out. Pretty soon I had a lot of friends on that game. A couple of them were talking about something called gaia, so I asked them, "What's the website called?", when they said www.gaiaonline.com, so a day or two later(4th of July) I went on the website and signed up, I then tried for whatever reason(don't remember how or why I wanted to call myself TheOverlord) so when Overlord, TheOverlord, and TheOverlord2 didn't work, I tried TheOvErLoRd#2 and it worked...thus I created TheOverlord#2, which I have used for my game name in MoHH2, and used here in the Joystiq network, when I had no idea someone named TheOverlord was on this site.
Sorry for the long story!

I'm surprised people haven't been clamoring for a WiiSpeak update to Smash Bros. Some people seemed so pissed about the inability to be cursed at by twelve-year-olds while playing online.

my only issue is that it's a MIC... lots of background noise.. i'd like to see the Wiispeak act as a base and allow for a possible wireless head attachment.

So a developer can't make liscensed games for a while in order to build up enough money, and a large enough studio to create something more worthwhile? Like they said, they had a means to get money with those games. Now, they are growing out of that as a studio and want to do something a bit more substantial. I'm sorry, but for what all this game, and furthermore the studio as a whole with it's other new Wii games, has offered, I can't be anything but excited. Even Rare and Factor 5 started out by making junk. Give these guys a break.

I've read alot of negative responses about Nintendo's E3 show but I was drooling over codww it looks frigging' mint I cannot wait to get my hand on this game and lay waste to all you muthas' CTF style. This game needs Wii Speak DESPERATELY. In CTF you NEED to strategize' if your team isn't calling off enemy positions and communicating it's over. In my opinion the lack of any voice option in mohh2 was the thing that kept a very good game from being a very great game. Anyway Nintendo really can't afford to spill the beans on the AAA's w/ M$ and Sony waiting in the wings ready to steal any thought, word or deed from the great big ole' shiny N. Oh yeah the Wii is the number one console in the United States of America. Fad?
